When my third son was born he had problems with spitting up and excessive gas. Our pediatrician had us change formula and recommended drops but nothing helped his poor tummy. One day my mom and I were shopping for new nipples for my old bottles and we saw the Advent bottles. The package said that the nipples are made to reduce gas and fussiness. Since he was almost four weeks old and nothing else had seemed to help I decided to give it a try. Within the week after I started using it his gas, which usually made him cry for about an hour after he ate, seemed to be down to half of what it used to be. That meant less crying and cramping in his poor tummy. I threw my old bottles out and now I recommend it to every mom I can.
I also love how the bottle is shaped, its easy to hold and if I need to reach for something I can rest it on his chest for a moment and he doesn't notice. It does make it hard to put in some diaper bag bottle pouches but its cap pretty effective so I never really had a problem with leaking.
