I nursed all of my children.  However, when I had to be away from them, it was great to know that there was another "go to" option.  I found that the avent bottles worked well with all three of my children.  And when my middle daughter weined herself, it was on an avent bottle.  That is saying a lot because she would not take a bottle when she was nursing, but the avent bottle is the one she went to over the playtex nurser and all other generic brands.  It's a pretty good value for the use that I got out of it.
