Oh how I love my little g diapers! As a mom of three this is the first time I have not used disposable pastic diapers. I wanted to help reduce my carbon print but not go with full cloth so what did I find but gdiapers?! These little beauties are not only cute on the bum but super easy and versatile! You can flush, throw or even use the inserts as compost (for those true earth friends)! Gdiapers have this great plastic inner liner that is reusable and washable along with the cover so once the insert is wet or dirty you can dispose of it without worrying which will last longer your child's trust...
review »I was first introduced to gDiapers on the Oprah show. This was several years before I was even married and had a child. I was extremely excited by the idea. When I became pregnant I decided I would use them and I am glad that I did. I could not initially use the gDiapers because my daughter was premature and too small for even the smallest diapers. Once she was big enough and we started to use them I was pleased with them. They do leak occasionally and you have to wash the pant part frequently (often times after just one wear). The refills can get a bit expensive over time. I actually...
review »I started using gdiapers about 6 months ago and love them! The gpants come in a bunch of cute colors and patterns and can easily be found barely used on the internet for much cheaper then retail! I wanted to go entirely cloth since the refills were expensive and hard to find with ordering but the gcloth is kind of pricey so I just use regular prefolded cloth diapers in my gpant and they work famously! I use two at night to prevent leaking! It us also much easier to was the cloth liners then I originally thought, my infant is strickly breastfed and I don't even have to rinse his diapers just throw...
review »When we found that my son was allergic to disposable diapers we started with the gdiaper. I love how easy it is. I can go a whole day only using 1-2 covers. Families can start using the gdiaper pretty inexpensively. I find them in new condition at used prices on the internet constantly, and really you would only need 3-4 little gpants to get started. We mainly use cloth liners, but I do love the disposable liner. I love how you can flush, compost or throw the disposable liner. I feel like I am making a difference when using this product since normal disposable diapers can take 500 years to break...
review »If your baby is suffering from diaper rash.....these diapers are the solution. My son's skin seemed to be irritated from Pampers and Huggies and I always hated seeing all the gross gel stuff stuck on him when I changed him.
He very rarely gets irritated bottom now that he wears gDiapers. He is quite a powerful pee'r so we do use disposies at night but have found that the TenderCare is an excellent brand that doesn't contain clorine and gel. We have had a few explosions of poop but come on....every diaper brand lets you down at some point!
I wanted to go to cloth diapers but my husband...
review »gDiapers are awesome! They arent quite cloth but arent disposable at the same time. I love that they are flushable and if I do throw them out, that they will break down. While they do leak some, they dont leak any more than a disposable does. I love the fit and comfort they provide and how environmentally friendly they are. The cost pays off, so while they are spendier, it is worth it! I highly recommend these to any mom looking for a great option other than disposables!
I tried G diapers for my newborn son after hearing good things about the product. I was excited to try them. On the first try, which was a peepee change, I was happy at how absorbant the padding was and how there were no leaks.
The second diaper change was a poopoo. And that one did not hold up so well. Without being graphic, I had to change the baby's entire outfit and scrub the outer section of the G diaper for quite a while to get it clean.
These saved us from using disposables when taking a road trip with our 4 month old. We found them very easy to use. They lasted all night, and we had no leaks outside of the plastic pants. It can be hard to dismantle the disposable pad in the toilet bowl whilst holding a baby, so it is always easier to have someone else with you.
I recommend this product.
G diapers are eco- counsious and adorable. What more do you need? Ok, so they're easy too. Bingo!
