Freecycle —

I accidentally stumbled onto this web site and thought I would share it.  It is like the recylcler newspaper only it is called freecycle.  You can post items that you are getting rid of and you can also post  wanted ads for things you are looking for. The only catch is everything has to be "free"  I like the fact that it keeps all kinds of things out of the landfill and it helps ease the pain of  the economy.  Of course items are used but if you need a particular item that doesn't have to be brand new, then it makes perfect sense!! I have been amazed at some of the postings in my local community.  Everything from dishes and clothes to gas bbq and appliances.  I log on about once a week,  my garage isn't as crowded and it makes me  feel good to to help my environment and my neighbors.  You are required to post an offer before you post a wanted ad but I didn't find that unreasonable. Take a look when you have a few minutes it's a good site to keep in mind, especially if you like to garage sale shop.
