Freecycle Review

Freecycle(TM) is an amazing concept that has grown so much in the last few years. Basically it is community orientated and there are groups all over the world. You join your local group and there you can find items that others no longer need as well as offer items that you might normally throw away. This not only helps to keep our landfills cleaner and save the environment, but it also helps others in need.

 The concept is simple, post a message to your local group with your item that you are offering. Other members contact you who are in need of this item and you set-up a pick-up time. Need something? Post a wanted message and if a member has it, they contact you. Or just read through the list of offers on the group and request items that other members have offered.

It is an amazing thing and helps us to keep our earth beautiful, teaches my son a new way to recycle and helps those who cannot afford items that they need.

There is no real down side to the group, though you do use Yahoo Groups to access it which can be limited at times.
