Freecycle Review

Have an old bike your kid has outgrown? How about a box of left over party supplies from your last Super Bowl party? If you were thinking about tossing them out in this weeks trash think again. Sign up for your area Freecycle and you can find someone in your area willing to come pickup your leftovers for free. I've been using Freecycle for a couple of years now and love how I can list my unwanted items and usually have them gone by the next day. Plus, I have found a ton of stuff I could use that other people were giving away. We have received brand new sleeping bags, a ton of craft supplies, a whole box of tea cups and saucers that we used for a Girl Scout tea party, books for my daughter and a lot of other stuff all in great condition. Plus, I feel so much better knowing that my things are going to someone who will use them instead of me throwing them in the trash and ending up in a landfill somewhere. Just because you don't want something anymore doesn't mean it is worthless. There's someone out there that is looking for that electric blue shag carpet for their bedroom. You just have to find them.
