Freecycle —
While I think the freecycle idea is a great one, the fact that they've now set up a sister site for pet adoptions is very discouraging. It's one thing to offer up a dog house, cat condo, etc., which they do allow postings for, but the people behind this latest site obviously are naive to the many downfalls of the words "free to loving home".
