Flavorwave Oven Review

I'm on my second FlavorWave Deluxe Oven now. I used and used and used my first one, and it even survived the leaky, moldy mess created by hurricane damage. It took more than 3 years of almost daily use - and occasionally two or three times a day - to wear the poor thing out. I was so upset that I immediately called and ordered a new one, and impatiently awaited its arrival.

Almost every morning I cook an organic, grass-fed beef burger patty in the FlavorWave Deluxe Oven. I typically put the frozen burger in the fridge the night before, but sometimes I forget. No problem - you can cook it from frozen in no time! That's because it uses a 3-way cooking process of conduction (as in a regular oven), convection (to circulate the air) and infrared (harmless, effective light used in 5-star restaurants).

This little machine looks like a mechanized cake dome, small enough to set on your counter. It uses up to 85% less electricity than a conventional oven, and does not heat up your kitchen. Living in a sub-tropical climate, this is a huge plus to us!

Just throw your meat, fish or poultry on the stainless steel rack at either the 1- or 4-inch height, set the temperature (190 to 400 degrees) and cooking time, and punch the Start button. Don't worry - the FlavorWave Deluxe Oven will beep when it's done. And if you aren't quite ready to eat, it will keep your food warm for you for up to three hours. Or set it up with a delayed start time to have your meal ready at exactly the right time.

Just imagine: a whole, frozen turkey (10 lbs.) beautifully cooked in just 2.5 hours! How about a frozen pork tenderloin in 35-40 minutes, or a fresh one in 20 minutes. Lock in the juices, let the fat drain into the baking dish below, and enjoy a healthy, well-cooked meal the easy way. You can even cook a tart or dehydrate apples in it for dessert! Oh - and cleanup is simple, too, as everything except the control unit is dishwasher safe!
