The “blender with the brain”
Blendtec is known as the “blender with the brain” by many, because it runs a cycle and turns off automatically once the cycle is done. It requires little monitoring by the home user when using the pre-programmed cycles, but also allows for specialized user control with its 100-speed pulse control that follows the user’s finger along the slider. Offering the power of the commercial Blendtec blenders, the smaller Blendtec Designer 725 model gives the same power and ease of use to home users.
Because of its six main pre-programmed cycles, returned blenders can be diagnosed by Blendtec to see which cycles were used the most or least, allowing Blendtec to focus more on improving the cycles people use most. In addition, Blendtec also brings an element of gamification to this new blender. If a user reaches a specific number of blends, they will be given a reward from Blendtec, whether it be a gift card or a new recipe. Blendtec plans to use the returned blender diagnostics and gamification to create more interaction with Blendtec users and further tailor their product to create a happier consumer.
From commercial to home
Blendtec’s Designer 725 blender is meant to bring the power and ease of use from their commercial blending roots to the home user.
