As someone who has many facial imperfections including freckles, redness, blemishes, and uneven skin tone, I am always searching for the most full coverage makeup. I always use foundation and powder (sometimes even powder foundation on top of liquid foundation). Needless to say, I was skeptical of the whole powder foundation craze. I had heard first hand from friends who swear by Bare Minerals. Being unemployed, I couldn't exactly afford the Bare Minerals nor the drugstore brands which are at least nearly $10 for all brands. Everyday Minerals is the same as Bare Escentuals having not only powder foundation but powder blush, eyeshadows, and concealer as well. If you go to Everydayminerals.com you can get a free sample kit of 3 foundations, 1 blush, and 1 concealer. All you have to pay is shipping, which for me was only $3. You can choose from several different coverage levels. I chose the intense which is the fullest coverage formula. The pots are very little but have enough for several uses. I never expected it to cover my imperfections and provide enough coverage. But my opinion of the brand is...I love it. It covers well enough so that I don't need to use foundation and it stays on as long as liquid foundation. My makeup routine time has been drastically reduced. I plan on buying the full size foundation and blush which are around $6 each. The only disadvantage of the product is that it is very messy. You have to tap out the powder that you want to use. So if you are in need of an on-the-go product, mineral makeup is not for you.
