I'm writing about my experience with hormone replacement medication. I've use the estrogen pill **Estratest**  H.S., for the past seven years. After having both ovaries removed, due to fibrous tumors my doctor prescribed an estrogen replacement hormone. I tried a few different types of hormone pills, but **Estratest** was the most effective one for my problems.  I was having many hot-flashes a day and terrible night sweats everynite. The mood swings and irritability was very unplesant to deal with. After a few days of using **Estratest,** my libido (sexual urge) gave back that positive loving energy. Before my surgery, I ask my doctor about how my sex drive would respond to losing both ovaries. He inform me that if I had the urge before the surgery, I would have it after the surgery. I found that to be true only with the **Estratest **pills. The pros to using the** Estratest** are having little to no hot-flashes, no more night sweats, no mood swings and a healthty and active libido. The cons to using **Estratest **or any hormone replacement therapy increases the risk of tumors and breast cancer. The **Estratest** pills makes me feel normal, even though I had both ovaries removed.
