My mom had purchased this a few years back. When she bought it her first words were "They lied! They said it'd be painless". I figured it wouldn't be considering it just rips your hair out fast. I never did get to watch the commercial, but I do know about it from my experience. I have used it on my eyebrows, upper lip, and knee (all of which I wouldn't recommend using because it hurts that bad. Also wouldn't recommend for people that have super sensitive skin. I have rosacea). I also used it on my legs, and chin, which those places seem to be not as bad, and I can tolerate that for quite some time. It is a nice alternative to not having to use tweezers and razors and whatnot all the time. I like how it's battery powered and free moving. It seems to clean quite easy too. I just use compressed air on it and wipe whatever else I can off with a paper towel. I noticed hair builds up in the tweezer part itself so I take the point tweezers and remove the build up every once in awhile to keep it cleaned out. I would recommend it to people who want a quicker way of plucking other than the traditional ways. Be warned it does hurt depending on parts being epilated along with how fine/coarse the hairs are.

OK, I waited until it was in the stores before attempting this product. I didn't believe all the hype, and I was right. I knew it would feel like an electronic hair plucker - that's all it is. It doesn't do all that the commercial promised, but it does get rid of my ugliest hairs - which is what I needed. I haven't tried it anywhere but my face, and I only remove two or three hairs a day. Eventually, I hope to have that "all hair gone" face in two weeks. If you are looking for a hair removal product to replace razers, trimmers, and wax, this isn't it. But if you want to replace your tweezers with something a little faster, this is the product for you.

This product is a complete rip off!  It doesn't work well at all.  It scratches your skin and doesn't remove facials hairs as stated.  You're better off just getting out the tweezers and doing it the old fashion way!  Don't waste your time or money!!!

The Tweeze is a handy little gadget for removing those unwanted and unsightly facial hairs. The snap-off cap makes it easy to clean and it's sleak style is comfortable to hold. It's lightweight and made of a sturdy feeling plastic and has an easily accesible battery (AA) compartment. Great for the baby-boomer with aging eyes or anyone with vision problems or someone who cannot manipulate a set of tweezers due to arthritic hands. So easy to use you can do it in the dark! Just turn it on with the easy slide button. Touch the end of the Tweeze to skin and softly move it back an forth. As you do this you will feel the little hairs being plucked out faster than you could find them with the naked eye. It's quick and efficient, perfect for an easy touch-up anytime. I did not find that my skin got red when doing the chin but the upper lip got a little pink. While you will feel the tiny plucking of hairs on your chin, it isn't much worse than manually pulling each hair individualy. But the upper lip is not for the faint of heart. It smarts! No fault of the Tweeze, it's just that your upper lip is much more sensitive. It does NOT cut or shave the hair, it pulls it from the root just like a regular tweezer. I found it helpful to apply a thin layer of numbing cream such as the the kind you would use for a teething baby. I personally use a natural product called "Basic H" from a nutritional company by the name of Shaklee. It has a numbing quality when applied to the skin. The TWEEZE is a very good product and does what it claims to do. It's efficient, economical and safe for all ages and physical conditions. I highly recommend it.

I see that this product does not have too great ratings but for me, it works! I always struggled with facial hair.. hate it! They're very thin but I think they're just too much so I tried about most everything: cream hair remover kits, wax kits, tweezers, you name it! For hair in other parts, like legs, arms, armpit, etc, I've always used electric epilators and one day I decided to look for a facial version of it, with a smaller head and battery operated. And I found Emjoi! After reading some not-so-nice reviews, I decided to give it a try since the price wasn't so bad. It turns out that I am very satisfied with its performance. It won't eat out the battery, it's very economical actually (or maybe I have really good batteries.. lol). And it is very practical. It saves me lots of time in tweezing. I use it all over my face with exception to the eyes region of course. But even on my forehead and hairline it works really well. It can be painful in the first minute or so, but then you get used to it. Specially if you are already used to electric epilators. I recommend it!

The first thing you need to realize about this product is that its a emjoi, which is a company that makes epilatiors.  **This is an epliator**.  That means that this uses what is essentially a motorized tweezer to remove hair.  Instead of attacking each solitary hair with a tweezer and pulling them out you move this around your face and the two pieces of metal attach onto the hair (like a tweezer) as they go around in a circular motion.  Epilators were sort of the rage when they came out, marketing was good and people bought them, but they died out because they were not pain-free and a lot of people didn't want to use them. **Epilators pull the hairs out, like tweezing.**  Yes, this hurts... just like tweezing hurts.  Since this is motorized (and it doesn't have a brain) if you use it wrong or press to hard this might catch and pinch your skin.  There is a guard on this to hopefully prevent that but depending on your face or your skin it might not be perfect. It does take a while, because it is pulling out each hair individually and it is definitely not pain free.  If you have issues with waxing this is definitely **not** for you, because waxing is all at one... this is hair by hair. *That aside, *if you have the patient and the pain tolerance for this is **does work**. I think the issues more so tends to be... do you think its worth it.  The upper lip (which I think would be the biggest face area you'd want to do this in) is the worst area on your body to pluck or wax.  There are a ton of nerves around the mouth, its going to be quite painful.  The further away you get the better it is, but pain is going to be part of it.  If you don't have a high pain tolerance I don't think this is really going to be for you. If you tweeze and want an easier way to do it (NOT the eyebrows, this cannot be used there) then this is a great alternative.  If you wax and want to try this since its much cheaper in the long run, you might like it - but keep in mind the pain of waxing is short lived and this is a lot more drawn out.  The big plus side to this is the price (cheaper then waxing in the long run and the purchase of creams) and that you're pulling the hair out so the new growth will "feel" smoother and you'll need to do it less frequently then something like shaving.  You also might have less hair grow in eventually. This does what it claims, but you have to realize exactly what it is and if its worth it.

***Quick View:*** The "As Seen in TV" demons got at me once again. I saw an infomercial for **Tweeze** *(pronounced Tweezie)*. It said it was painless and safe and would remove hair from faces and other unwanted areas and keep it away for weeks. Right. Well, if you're into torture, you may like this thing. Otherwise, look elsewhere. ***About As Seen on TV Tweeze Hair Remover*** This "thing" a battery operated plastic do-dad with wires on the top. You hold it like you would a traditional shaver but slant it slightly. Turn it on and it will buzz. Put it against your face and you will shriek, scream, cuss (even if you never have before), and possibly cry. Your face will feel like you have sucked the skin off it and you will have big red marks where you have attempted to discreetly remove unwanted hair. The **Tweeze** is slightly less painful on other parts of the body but still, crazy painful. I am not a fan of unnecessary pain but I am not a wuss. I can take pain well. But why should I? I tried this on what I call my "side burns" and it about killed me. Then it left the area bumpy and red and much more noticeable then the little downy hairs I had there. It took days before my skin returned to normal. I was happy to see the fine hairs grow back. I learned my lesson. Some things are not meant to be messed with. This can be used on men and women. No man that I know of would put up with that kind of pain unless it was just to zap a stray hair or two. I mean, I had two big ole baby boys with no medication and I almost couldn't stand the pain from this thing. A guy would toss this thing so fast, it wouldn't have a chance to bite them like it did me. And it DOES feel like the thing bites. I guess it wraps hairs around the wires and twists them until they are pulled out by the roots. GAWD. No thanks. I hatedddddd **Tweeze** and refuse to go near the evilness that it is. ***My Viewpoint*** Don't be sucked in by the commercials of women smiling as they use their **Tweeze**. It is obviously not turned on. Or they have been anesthetized before using it. This thing HURTS and burns the skin. It leaves you with red, irritated, bumpy skin that takes days to calm down. It's a big ole crock. And I fell for it as usual. Sheesh, when will I ever learn? ***1 star. ***

I usually use creams to eliminate unwanted facial hair but the results do not last as long as I would like. I bought The Tweeze Hair Remover with the intent of removing the unwanted facial hair easily from the root to keep the hair gone longer. Well, this was short lived. As soon as I switched it on and placed it on my face I had had enough. I did try it a couple more times but with the same result. Needless to say, I am back to my creams.  The only good thing about the Tweeze is it is easy to operate and takes only two AAA batteries. I guess I must admit that is does remove hair but not as well as I had expected. It is uncomfortable against the skin with the spinning "wheel" that is supposed to pull out the hair. I think it is actually more irritating than using a pair of tweezers or waxing to remove unwanted hair. In my opinion, do not waste your money on this item. I am just glad that I at least was able to use a coupon to purchase this so I did not have to pay full price.

The Tweezer hair remover isn't the best product to buy or even think about trying. I spent the money just to see if it was worth it and it ripped those hairs out and hurt as it did. It said it was easy, sure that may be, but its not worth having you face and skin where you use it hurt and cause you any kind of disconfert of any kind. They give you a cream usely to us after your done using it. In some ways the cream can cause a little bit of burning after use. I stopped using the product as soon as I figured out that it didn't do what they said it would do. Please, don't buy it, its not worthy of the cash coing out of your pocket. If you like pain maybe you should just try a good wax. At least that would pull on the hair and make you flinch every time you use it. The tweezer was someones idea that they thought it would be good. But, I guess they didn't count on it being one that lots of women thought would take some of the ease out of plucking. It didn't work, time to go back to the drawing board. Don't but the Tweezer its not worth the money. Period!!
