eBay sets up their Sell page in simple-to-follow steps:  just fill in your title, choose some photos to upload, fill in your description, type in your opening bid (lowest price you'll accept) , say how long you want your auction to last, and decide on your shipping options.  Shipping has historically been the trickiest part of any eBay sales transaction and the site has added an easy popup chart to help sellers determine how they want to ship and what they'll charge for it.   Easy, breezy eBay. 

Libby's Hot Tip:  Write your item description before going online;  then just cut and paste ithe text into your listing.   This way you run no risk of laboring over your listing only to lose it all if your system crashes due to power failure or whatever.   Also be aware that you can always edit your copy after you post it, so no worries if you make a mistake.    

Once a sale is complete, eBay again makes things easy with notices to both parties.  Once the money is sent to the seller's PayPal account, he or she can keep it there to use those funds for future purchases or have the money sent to them.  

This is a great world to have access to thousands of shoppers across the world, that you would never reach through traditional channels.
