I do so much shopping online these days since I can generally find exactly what I'm looking for in a lot less time than it would take me to check out a lot of different stores. Living in Manhattan I have access to a lot of great stores, but not always in the same location since we don't have the big malls found in the suburbs. And though a bus or a subway will generally get people most places faster than driving anyway, it can waste a lot of time to have to be traipsing all over town. It can be especially frustrating to go to a place I know usually carries an item just to find out they need to restock. On the other hand, it's extremely convenient for me to have items delivered. Because of my online shopping, I've become a fan of coupon codes and rebates since they're an added benefit and easy to take advantage of on the net. And that's how I came across Ebates.com. I have saved hundreds of dollars on things I would have bought anyway. It's not one of those come-ons that tempts you to spend money on things you don't really need. If you're an online shopper, you should stop by and see if the stores you usually frequent are listed (you'd be surprised how many are) or search for an item you want because the rebates start to add up fast.
There are no strings attached, membership is free, no minimum purchases that need to be made (though you won't get a rebate until your rebates add up to at least 5 dollars...which is not difficult), you don't have to give a credit card number to Ebates and the stores and brands are not obscure but are actually the ones you'd use. Do yourself a favor, check it out, you've got nothing to lose. You may even find a few new places you love to shop!
