The dating service, eHarmony, bringing people together that are compatible and creating long lasting partnerships, had a fabulous promotion for the Valentine's holiday this year.  They promoted unlimited communication with all matches they found, for their clients, from February 15th till the 18th.  At first I was a little reluctant, which cost me a day off the promotion.  This would be my second time signing up with them.  So, I finally signed up for their promotion on the 16th.  Still reluctant, I went through the first step, profile imaging.  There are several tests; a client must take, that rate them into ten different categories.  These categories are then compared to clients already signed up, and with "1000s" more signing on everyday.  It's definitely not something to rush; you can take your time.  Make sure you have the energy to fill out all the parts of your profile, makes for better matching criteria.  However, a client has to be ready for the amount of matches they receive.  The first time I signed on, probably about 5 years ago, I only received one match over a two-week period.  And that male match put me in a holding area while he was contemplating other matches.  Not good for my self-esteem, so I ended my account after that.  I look back now and understand that I was just not ready for even a hint of a long-term relationship, and I probably should have been more patient.  However, I still knew eHarmony had made some good matches through their legitimate advertisements.  This second account, with eHarmony, was totally different.  Everyday I had received several more matches to look at, but I had to keep searching for the first three days.  It was great!  The next few steps are to communicate with all your matches, through guided communication or a fast track system.  I choose guided.  I figured, if eHarmony were the partnership professionals on healthy dating, why not use their system.  I exchanged questions that were prewritten and that I thought mattered to my lifestyle.  Then there was a section of "Must Haves" and "Can't stands" in a partner that the client is looking for.  Then there are second set of prewritten questions you can exchange.  Finally, there is a last communication.  And then the happy, but, oh so curious couple can start open communication.  And at that point the clients can terminate their accounts, if they want to.  I'm still signed up with them, but I do need to re-subscribe.  I have to finish the fourth level of communication on one match and other levels of communication for other matches.  I still haven't gotten to the open communication part.  These matches, who have been sent to my account, seem to be fairly good matches that I would like in a partner.  And I can be extremely picky!  I think that makes for a more stable relationship.  There are promotional codes and offers all over the Internet that reduces eHarmony's monthly rates, and I'll probably use a promotional code that gives me a three-month subscription for the regular amount of one month.  Well, healthy dating!
