This kit goes everywhere I do. It's small enough to easily fit in my purse and the brushes are of very good quality. The black case is faux-leather and very soft. It unsnaps to reveal five travel sized cosmetic brushes in their own mesh pockets plus an extra zippered pocket for whatever you may want to stash in there. There is a plastic overlay that goes over the brush tips to keep them clean and protected in the case.

The brushes aren't tiny. They run around four inches tall. There is a powder/blush brush, a brow and brush comb, an angled eye shadow brush, a lip brush, and an eye shadow applicator. The only brush I rarely use is the eye shadow applicator because it is a sponge tipped one and I prefer eye shadow brushes so I use the one in this kit. The powder/blush brush is the best. It never sheds and is as big as a regular brush as far as thickness of the bristles. It does a great job. All the others are well made as well and don't break or shed at all. I have a $79.00 sable hair travel set that looks almost exactly like this set and it sheds all over! This cost just $5.00! The sable kit was a gift from the manufacturer, thankfully. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for travel brushes.

At any rate, these are a steal and I urge you pick up a set for yourself and a few for gifts. These aren't those junkie, stiff, bristle shedding brushes you see at Wal-Mart or Target. These are truly professional quality brushes. I have no idea how e.l.f. can sell these brushes at the price they do but it's quite a steal!

This is a great travel brush kit that doesn't break the bank. These brushes are better than many more expensive ones on the market. 4 stars bordering on 5.
