this is in my opinion a decent starter brush. the brush to me isn't plush and soft. not he best quality, i would spend the extra and get the black elf brushes. they're really good!

E.L.F Total Face Brush #1804 is a good brush for a great price. The best part about it is that it's cheap and it's super soft! Most other cheap products aren't soft and feel awful against your face. I have had this brush for a few months and it is still just as soft! It's a great product and great for adding a mineral finishing powder to your face. I highly recommend this!

I have champagne taste with a screw-top wine budget, and I am constantly trying to find ways to work sips of champagne into my budget.  e.l.f. (eyes lips face) cosmetics is one place I can do that.  Several years ago, when finances weren't quite so pinched, I was fortunate enough to have a lovely set of sable makeup brushes.  They were unbelievably soft, and I used them until they literally fell apart.   After that, of course, it's been hard to be satisfied with synthetic brushes. I discovered the e.l.f. website by accident, and chanced upon a sale on brushes.  They were very reasonable, and I was in need, so I purchased them.  It turned out to be a very wise move. One of the brushes I purchased was the total face brush.  I use it daily to apply either a light dusting of powder over my foundation, or, if I'm having a more casual day, a layer of e.l.f. glow mineral foundation.  For the price, you can't go wrong with this brush, and if you shop the website for even a short period of time, you'll find a sale.  The quality of products is outstanding.  I still use my high-end department store foundation and skin care products, but I've turned to e.l.f. for many of the brushes, tools and glamour items. Also, the e.l.f. total face brush has a long handle, unlike the kubuki brushes that come with some of the other lines.  I think that makes it easier to control.  I gave my 16-year old niece a whole set of these brushes as a gift and it cost less than one sable brush would have cost.

I gave up on e.l.f. cosmetics long ago, but I did acquire an e.l.f. makeup brush that I started using recently when my other makeup brush got contaminated from a product that gave me an allergic reaction.   The **e.l.f. Total Face Brush **is said by e.l.f. to have, "soft, caressing facial bristles".  That is very true.  The bristles are the softest bristles I've ever felt.  They are really long bristles and nothing like the short, firm bristles of a kabuki brush. I don't use this brush for my mineral foundation because I use a kabuki brush for that, but I bought it for applying my mineral bronzer and blush.  With a pressed compact of blush or bronzer, the bristles are sometimes a little too soft to get enough color, but with a loose powder, it provides much more coverage.  I find that it sweeps across my face fluidly and effortlessly, but I also find that it doesn't seem to grab very much powder.  After several applications, I can get the desired amount of color on my face.  I also notice that when I wear a moisturizer on my face before applying my makeup, this brush applies much more color than if I didn't use a moisturizer. Overall, I love how soft this brush is, but I do need to apply a couple coats to get the color I want.  For the price though, you can't beat it!

It is inexpensively priced, as are all E.L.F. products.  Will last  if taken care of properlly taken of.  Applies & blends Mineral makeup evenly & smoothly.  I give the e.l.f.Total Face Brush a 10+.   I am using this makeup brush, & will not pay high prices for makeup brushes again

This is a great face brush to make my face after make up is natural. it make my face is not have a lot of powder makeup by sweep around my face by this brush. when it touch my skin it is very soft and tenderly to sweep even just a softly sweep to decrease little bit layer of powder makeup. especially, when i have more air brush as more pink on my chese so i can use it to decrease some more to make my chese is pink but natural that people look at me and they don't know i have make up in my face. and if i just have a light make up so i just put some powder make up by sweep little bit pwder in the brush then i sweep in my face and that make me so pretty when i ang out with my friends. that is not too much, that also not to less but that is natural to make my face look more strong as fresh as my ages right now.

I had read some reviews that mentioned the brush shedding bristles, and, well, for such a great price I really wasn't expecting a terrific product. Surprise! I LOVE this brush. It is soft, puts powder and blush on perfectly, and has not shed a bit on me. I use it every day. I just wish I'd bought more than one, for each of my different bronzer tones!
