I have been looking for this exact product forever!  I don't know how long E.L.F. has been around, but I remember hearing about it and never looking into it (isn't that always how it goes?).  Two weeks ago, I got a text from a friend about the great deals on the Eyes Lips and Face website, so I figured I had to have a look.  I was hesitant because E.L.F seemed like it was the cosmetics equivalent of Forever 21; anything so inexpensive and in such abundance is immediately questionable.  To my surprise, however, the products from E.L.F have totally exceeded my expectations.

I like what another reviewer said about the site: the fact that everything is a dollar makes it "almost goof proof."  It's so true!  You can try things out, mix and match and never worry about breaking the bank.

My delight was complete when I discovered the Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade.  I love cosmetics but that doesn't make me a makeup artist!  I like things to be simple and you can't get simpler than the Facial Whips from E.L.F.; just dab some onto your cheekbones, your lips or your brow bones to get an instant pick-me-up!  It will take the place of blush, lip gloss and brow brightener so you can tuck it in your purse and feel the freedom!

The only downside to this great product for me is that I have naturally oily skin, and sometimes the shimmer just adds to my shiny appearance.  I have to work extra hard to stay powdered during the day otherwise it's not a pretty picture.  I'm willing to go through that, though, to enjoy such a fresh, fun look!

Try it out - you can't lose when you're only paying $1!  It also contains vitamins B, C and E so you can feel good about treating your skin! www.eyeslipsface.com

Here's a fun fact: the Facial Whip in Toasted received the Editor's Choice Award in Allure Magazine's 2008 Best of Beauty Competition.  Nine times out of ten I've been happy with the products that have gotten Allure's seal of approval.

Thank you! And yes, we've got several placed strategically all over the house :o) my heart still jumps whenever I see anyone in that uniform!

Hi, great review. I just have to mention what a beautiful picture that is. I hope you've made it bigger and is hanging on your wall.

Thanks for the heads up! I will totally avoid those products. I'm not sure why e.l.f. is such a fan of this "peel off" stuff but I think it's kind of obnoxious! Their liquid eyeliner peels off and from what you're saying, it sounds like their nail polish does too! The other product I tried was their eyeshadow and blush and so far everything's great!

I have had horrible experiences with e.l.f. products so far, but this sounds nice. The mascara was horrible, the concealer was okay and the nail polish lasts on your nails for 1 day! If I get the courage to buy from them again, I will look into this. I agree though, since things are only $1.00, it's easy to experiment without going broke! Thanks!
