e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze Review

e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze is one of the $1 products available through Eyes Lips Face, a company that does no animal testing and markets quality products at very affordable prices.  I purchased the Plumping Glaze in Mauve Berry.  The gloss has two ends: one end contains the pearlized glaze that should be applied underneath lip color and causes your lips to appear fuller.  The other end contains the moisturizing color glaze and boosts volume as well.

What I like about it:  Both the glaze and colorized gloss have menthol in them, so they smell minty and fresh.  The tube itself is well-constructed and is fairly good quality plastic.  The product smooths onto lips easily.  I definitely think they both make my lips look fuller!  The e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze wears well...I applied it before going shopping and after my shopping trip, a soft pretzel and soda, and the drive home, it still looked like I had recently applied it.

What I don't like about it:  The menthol is a little strong...it kind of smells like a cough drop more than peppermint.  I was disappointed in the color of the colorized glaze: I ordered Mauve Berry, which looks very dark, both in the on-line photo and in the tube, but once it's applied, you can barely see any pink on my lips, and they don't look much darker than when I'm not wearing any lip product at all!

Overall, this is a nice product for plumping, but I will be using it under other lipsticks that actually have color to them!  For $1, it's a great little gloss for fuller lips.
