I made my first e.l.f. purchase last week and selected 3 e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pens, one for me, one for my mom, and one for my sister.  I had read several great reviews and was hoping they'd be worth the shipping cost at least, since each pen only costs $1!  They arrived within a week of my order being placed, and I couldn't resist applying the cuticle pen in my driveway right after getting the mail, I was so eager to see if they actually worked!

e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pen contains no paraben and has avocado, grapeseed, sweet almond, and aloe vera oils.  e.l.f. is a PETA sponsor, so while you may not be a PETA fan, there is definitely the benefit that they don't do any animal testing.  The white pen has a cap that you just pull off, then brush the liquid onto your nails and cuticles with the brush at the end of the applicator.

What I like about it:  Well, you can't beat the price!  I placed an order after getting a discounted shipping rate, which made the deal even sweeter!  I love that there are so many different oils that immediately moisturize and soften the skin around my nails and make my nails shiny.  I could not believe the difference that I saw, immediately after application!  It lasted for hours and my cuticles and nails still looked healthier and less dry, even after handwashing!  Because they're only the size of a tube of lipstick, e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pens are convenient for travel or stashing in a desk drawer at the office.  The application is easy and doesn't leave any mess or risk a spill, like other cuticle oils I've used that come in bottles.

What I don't like about it:  The applicator at the end of the pen is kind of like a felt-tip marker, but it's very stiff.  You have to angle it to get into small areas.  I would like to see a slightly softer brush, but it's not so big a problem that I would not buy this pen again.

Overall, this is a great product!  I will be very comfortable giving these pens to my mom and sister for their use, and will get more in the future.  Super convenient, quick and easy, and definitely affordable!

I was very surprised at the quality! I haven't been impressed with their actual makeup, since I don't think the colors are as pigmented as higher-end products, but this was really impressive, esp. for a buck!
