I apply this every night before going to bed. It is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave you feeling like your covers will absorb all the lotion if you put your hands under the covers. I have extremely dry hands in the winter and my cuticles look horrible most of the time. This is also handy to have along to apply while waiting for meetings, etc. during the day.
