I Got What I Paid For! (CHEAP PRODUCT)

I realize that you don't always have to spend a lot of money to get a good product. (That's why in a recent beauty magazine Dove Soap was features at 2 for $4 right along with the soaps that cost $15 or more!)

However, sometimes it is worth spending a little more money. Being very budget conscience I decided to try e.l.f. cosmetics. Their promise of a great product at $1 price drew me in. I was excited!

Well, when I tried my new cosmetics I knew that I got exactly what I paid for!

The eyeliner is so waxy. It is so hard to get it on and when you do the end result is not pretty. The blush is extremely powdery. Every time you swoop your brush over it powder goes flying everywhere. (It is hard to explain)

I also tried their cucumber-melon gift set (soap, lotion, shower gel, body butter) I thought I was getting a tremendous bargain at $15 ... it smells so bad. Really bad.

I wanted my money back, but guess what I found out. They do not issue returns or exchanges.

I like some of their products. I am so with you on the cucumber melon stuff. I also did a review on that! Aweful!! To the trash with it!
I do love, love their mineral concealor. I also like their mineral blush and foundation. Their mineral concealor is very nice and one of the best that I've tried. I've tried some of their regular eyeshadows and their okay too. I use their bronzing face powder religiously (I keep my face out of the sun as much as possible so its pale). The bronzing powder is great on the forehead, chin and nose to give you a little glow. But you are right, if there is something that you don't like - at least you didn't spend a lot of $ on it.
