I bought this years ago and I remember this formula was really bad! It was chalky it looked and felt like chalk ! It wasn't pigmented at all when I searched it and it doesn't show on your skin and I'm really fair. So this product doesn't work at all! I regret purchasing this product don't waste your money on this! I had to take off the product and use the mirror for my everyday makeup bag!

If I could give this product a 500 I would. I have several uses for it. You can use the colors individually for specific correction or if you have problems allover like I do, just blend it all on your brush and sweep it everywhere. I have heard if you are dark you want to go very lightly to avoid ashy tones. I put so much on because I also use it to even out my foundation color since everything is always too dark even in the lightest shade for me. So I do have a trick for the ashy look. Bronzer or sparkle powder overtop. If you aren't into shimmer just top it off with a regular powder. This little compact is great and comes with a mirror so if you need to touch up you can take it with you. If you have oily skin I recommend the hd powder, blotted with a brush as opposed to this so you don't have to do the two powder thing if you mess up and put too much on. This powder lasts me about a month, but as I said I use a lot of it. For a normal skinned person this would last a very long time.

I love E.L.F. products. I really do. I had seen many a makeover where they used products such as this and they magically evened out the person's skintone, so I ordered it from E.L.F. It made me look like I had to black eyes. It took the bags/dark areas under my eyes and basically highlighted them and made them look far worse. I washed it off and tried again, thinking I'd use a different blend. Same result. I tried putting my make up on over it, thinking maybe it was supposed to look that way and then have make up over it, but I still looked like I had taken a couple of punches. I ended up washing my face for a second time and throwing it in the trash. I'll reiterate that I, almost solely, use E.L.F. products and have been very happy with them. I am caucasion with a pretty dark tan, oily nose and dry cheeks with "I have two toddler" bags under my eyes. I really thought this would help even out all those differences. The mineral powders and base provide a far better coverage than this, I'd definitely go with those instead.

I had not tried too many products from e.l.f.'s Studio line, so I thought I would try the Complexion Perfection powder after reading good reviews on it. I was intrigued as to whether mixing the four pastel colors would actually do anything to hide redness and other skin problems. When applying the powder, I felt that it was a tad on the chalky side, and there was some fallout. I did see a reduction in redness in my face, but it was difficult to blend the powder out. The coverage was not all that great, and I noticed that my face appeared somewhat ashy. I am not too tan, leaning more towards a medium skintone, but the powder kind of washed me out. I feel that other products could help in reducing my redness without the ashy effects, so I would not recommend this product. However, I think that this may be useful to others who are more fair-skinned.

I was really excited for e.l.f.'s Complexion Perfection. I love their studio line, and I thought the idea of all the colors was ingenious. I noticed a slight decrease in redness around my nose when I used this product, but saw no help for my under-eye circles. It is great for shine and would be good to use as a regular powder. Besides the fact that as soon as I opened the powder the mirror fell out, I like the sleek black packaging. Of course the price is pretty good, and I love that e.l.f. always includes vitamins or other good ingredients in their products. I really feel like I'm caring for my skin. I've never tried a product similar to this one, with multiple colors to be used at once to correct the complexion or cover imperfections, so I'm not sure what to compare this to. I really like the name, I think it's very cute. If I were to replace my regular powder with this one, it would be worth using all the time. Otherwise the color correcting results aren't worth the extra step for me. I adore e.l.f.'s products, but my hopes for their Complexion Perfection were higher than it what it delivered.

I lost my makeup case with all of my makeup about a month ago.  I don't wear a ton of makeup so I wasn't completely devastated but it was really annoying. At about that time my sister sent me an email telling me about a deal e.l.f. was having so I decided to take a look. When I saw this product I was very skeptical of how well it would work. I've tried mineral makeup and powders before and they either didnt do anything, made my pores look huge, or caked and flaked.  I read some positive reviews and decided to give it a try.  I'm so glad that I did!  It does a great job of blending the red out of my cheeks.  It's very sheer and light.  It's matte but not cakey at all.  It looks natural on my fair skin... which can be difficult to match.  You simply take a brush and blend it across all 4 powders and then apply it to your face.  If there's a trouble spot that you want to target you can pick up some more of 1 or 2 specific colors.  For example I used extra green on my red cheeks. Great product for a great price!

This powder is easy to use, and with a makeup brush just goes right on! This item evens out the skin tone and absorbs any excess oil. Its sheer formula left my skin looking great! it even helped neutralize any redness on my face. E.L.F. 's new Studio line is amazing! I recommend everyone to go out and try some of the products, especially this!
