I know, when you think of buying anything to apply to your face, you're automatically skeptical. As you should be, because you face is YOUR FACE. Everyone will see it and it is your "billboard" of constant expression. I love Elf products on the whole, but when I finally decided to try a cosmetic brush, I was shocked beyond belief. I don't mind inexpensive shadows, but the "cheap" brushes I've purchased in the past have been very hard, scratchy and stiff. The Elf brush turned out to be perfect with the first use. It didn't need to be "primed". It has a nice size and the bristle texture is pretty amazing. It just goes to show that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to be pretty. This is definitely a brush to have in your kit. It's versitle and does well once cleaned. Unlike some brushes that dry out when cleaned, this brush won't have that issue. Also, another huge plus about this brush is that it doesn't shed or thin out. You don't have to worry about a bristle falling in your eye because it's cheaply made. So, stock up!
