I have had many animals in my lifetime, but when I found these small dogs I was hooked. I have had 4 of these great dogs and each one is as different as night and day. Some basic things they do all have in common would be, stuborness. They have something in mind and you can not change there minds. Once they put there minds to something, lookout. I had one that was an amazing escape artist. No yard could hold him.
They are hard to housebreak. Again, this goes back to the first thing. If you keep at it, it will finally click with them and you will never have a problem again.
They are very protective. I've seen my dogs charge a german sheppard and not back down, thank goodness the shepard turned and ran.
They come in two different personality types, hyper and laid back. I've had both types and I think I prefer the laid back ones.
Overall these are great family dogs as they get along with everyone and all other animals.
