Hi, I'm Cathy from Kentucky. I live in Louisville. I am a single parent and my world centers around my 17 month old Jasmine. I am currently job hunting and living with parents. I am seperated and going through a divorce. Being a mom is hectic, but I have a great support system.

When she is sleeping I generally spend it job hunting, filling out reviews and checking e-mail. We like to play games and be outdoors when the weather is nice. I am constantly doing something.

My hobbies are reading, writing, computer games, watching movies and tv shows, but generally my time is occupied by taking care of her, doing chores, and taking care of the animals.

Generally I just take one thing at a time make a list and expect to not finish everything because things happen. Life is precious and worth living every day one day at the time. It is more fun that way.

Hello everyone. My name is Donna, I am a southern gal from the hills of Tennessee. I have been married for 20 years to a wonderful man, we have one son who has just started college. I enjoy gardening, fishing, observing wildlife and I love animals. We have 2 cats that were rescued from the streets and 4 dogs, two are English Setters that are actually my husbands (he is an avid grouse hunter) and two that are Pembroke Welsh Corgi's and are my babies. We hope to have Pembroke puppies in the future (not to be used like a puppy mill only to give them friends and family that will provide them with a safe and loving home). I am disabled but still try to stay as active as I can. I hope to meet new friends and have fun.

Hello, my name is Donna and I grew up in Quincy, Ill. I moved to Arizona in 1992. I have been married twice and lived with someone between those two marriages. I have one daughter who is married and lives in Washington state and has no children. I am happily divorced for 5 years and I am a devoted christian and servant of the our Lord Jesus Christ. I have 2 kittys one is siamese mix and loves to play. The other is a long hair gray calico and loves to cuddle but then they both do but my lap only holds one at a time. I have a gorgeous golden retriever/chow/irish setter/lab mix dog. She is 2 years old and I adopted her from a no kill facility in May of this year. My kittys I have had for going on 7 years and they are both indoor and very happy and healthy. I love my furry children very much and I spend a great deal of my time playing with them. Sissy has a lot of energy and needs to run and play outside every day. I am 53 years old and physically disabled but still able to walk and enjoy life in spite of chronic pain.

Since I have given my life to the Lord, I have experienced great peace in my life. But that is not without trials. He has been there to guide me and comfort me through my divorce and has brought me to a place of serenity. I now place all my toubles in the hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My complete trust lies in Him. He is in control of all circumstances.

So on that note I bid every one a blessed day.

I love the quiet life you could say. Reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, listening to music - country and pop are my favorite. I love animals as well. I have a cat and a dog. They get a long to a point. Sometimes better than others. I love to go to the cinema as well.

Walking/Jogging around the park is a favorite of mine. I can also grab a book and sit by the river and read. I live along the ohio river, so it's very peaceful. :)

Marty here (Aleconner). With the exception of the 4 years I lived in Mexico, I have lived in or near Chicago my whole life. My day job is in manufacturing, but it's my avocation that brings me to Viewpoints: beer and brewing. I have been following the renaissance in the American brewing industry since its inception back in the early 1980's -including lots of travel throughout the United States and Europe. After becoming a homebrewer, I decided to write about my experiences and have now published 4 books on beer and brewing.

To date I have visited over 250 breweries and tasted over 1,000 different commercial beers -many of them at their source. I enjoy sharing my evaluations and observations with Viewpoints readers. I only wish more of them shared my passion.

Hi,

I am Elizabeth and live in California. I have only been with Viewpoints for s short time and am still learning how to navigate. I have written several reviews and it is definitely a learning experience.

Over the past year I have become very politically active. With the economy the way it is, we need to be very involved in local politics. Let them know that we need more businesses in our community. Businesses that wil stay. Small businesses need to be encouraged and supported.

I have two grown sons, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. It is always a joy to spend time with them. I don't get to spend enough time with them as we are all so busy and the son who lived nearby is a working/teaching musician. He is being very creative with his business.

I have a personal web site that has evolved over the years and it has been a labor of love.

I am at Viewpoints due to an invitation from a friend. I am so happy that I took her advice and joined. This is a great experience.

Hi, I'm Jennifer aka grenmse. I've been here a while but I didn't find this forum until recently so I might as well introduce myself.

I'm originally from Northern Virginia and I moved to the south seventeen years ago with my family. I can't say it is the greatest living here but the beaches are fun. I like to cook, surf the internet and shop online, play video games (especially Final Fantasy), write (been doing this since I was in grade school just never published anything formally), I read all sorts of books, make jewelry and found I like to travel. I discovered the latter when i took a short trip on my own and stepped on a plane for the first time this past June. It was a pretty big thrill. As for what I do; ! have worked everywhere from desk jobs to retail to web site design to health insurance and I find I like writing, doing beadwork and web design the best. Now if I could just make a living in the south with those talents.

You will find I am into all natural products and gluten free stuff so I try to review interesting things I find. Anything goes though, if I like it I will find time eventually to review it. Sometimes I don't get to sit down and do a review for a few days or more. What else? Hmmm. Well I am single, no hubby yet, and I share my house with a nutty fluff ball cat (Bailey) and a Pembroke Corgi dog (Rosie.) When Rosie goes on a "bark a thon" you can hear her all the way down in Charleston! Sheesh.

I have been happily married for a while now and have four great children. Two step children and two of my own, two boys two girls. We love going places and traveling and camping, we love to ride Harleys all over the place, and most of all we enjoy movies and various other things.

I am working towards a medical billing degree and making my business a successfull one.

My name is Toni Taylor, I am 36 years old and I live in Lancaster, California. I live about 70 miles North of Los Angeles in the Mojave Desert. It has it's own type of beauty, it takes some getting used to, and it is very hot and dry here. A good thing about living where I do is it is almost always sunny!

I have lived all over the world. I lived in Germany for three years and was able to visit Venice, Italy, Paris France, Majorca, Spain, Berlin, Poland and more. I was very fortunate to have had that experience!

Hi - I'm Scott but everyone calls me Scotty. Born and raised in Houston, Texas. Was fortunate enough some years ago to have had a job which had me driving all over the state and I got to know just about every square mile of it. The only place I haven't been to is the central eastern portion and I will be heading to Caddo Lake soon so that will not be the case much longer. Love my state.

I like to go camping whenever I get the chance, will hike my teenage nephews into the ground until they literally cry "Uncle". I have a cabin deep in the piney woods 100 miles north of Houston and on the weekends I retreat there. My "neighbors" are mostly horses, cattle and a few goats and donkeys. Most of the humans there only come out at night. By day they are hiding from the law.

I used to be into very fast cars but then I discovered that if you can go way offroad there are no cops around so I traded my scary 370 HP Mustang for a Wrangler and have had great fun playing on trails all over Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona for the past 10 years. To me the beauty of the Southwest is unparalled, especially in Winter.

I'm a complete split personality in a way as I like to watch Rambo and Zombie flicks, like to shoot my old Winchesters, like to bang around in my old truck listening to CW music, am highly skilled with a chainsaw and a machete, etc., but I also like Ravel, drink Perrier, eat Brie, watch Patrick DeWaere (a dead French actor) movies and all those sappy Hallmark Channel movies.

I'm madly in love with Anoushka Shankar, Ravi's daughter, and fall to sleep at night with sitar music playing in the background. If only she were really there...

I play a pretty mean blues guitar, my favorite possession - a '61 Reissue Epiphone SG I bought new in '07. I also write poetry compulsively, sometimes while I'm doing 75 MPH on the interstate in the rain, and have started posting a few poems on my blog here. Please read and complain.

Being in Houston, I've probably seen more horrible weather than most and after Ike I'm a little hurricane shy these days. Used to love them. Still like a good thunderstorm but not high winds anymore.

Am kind of a pet whisperer, have tamed two feral cats and three feral dogs including one which I was told was beyond hope and would never be a pet. That once totally wild animal is now the biggest baby of them all.

Hello, i thought i would introduce myself and ask for some pointers if anyone minds sharing some pointers! meaning helping me the best way to get points. well alright about myself, i have been married a long long time, and have 2 grown sons, but neither are married nor do i have grandkids shucks anyway.

i live in a rural area in northern minnesota, and yes there is nothing to do in the winter time you guessed it. but i tell you i like the quiet so i get by with finding things to do. I am thinking about taking up ice fishing and guys its fun when the fish are biting, if there not your biting your nails instead, but wait thats right its too cold to take your gloves off LOL!

I build, rebuild, fix and do custom cases and PC's for customers. On my free time, I enjoy playing PC Games, I also review them, and I own a lot of them.

I also do modifications for games IE: coding, textures, skinning, modeling, voices (mp3 or wav format), and I also like to rewrite some game engines to my own specifications as long as it doesn't interfere with online play.

I have 2 kids, and a wonderful wife who helps me out through thick and thin, she is my ultimate soul mate.

I don't smoke or drink anymore, had to quit due to health problems.

I also enjoy cooking, fishing, 4-wheeling, death metal music, Halloween, art, 3D art, gothic age castles, armor, stuff like that.

Hi Ya'll ... I'm Robin. I'm 47 and married for the "last" time to my wonderful husband, Kevin, of seven years in December. We got married in Vegas and try to go back there every year for our anniversary. I have three grown children and three amazingly adorable grandchildren.

I'm a medical/legal transcriptionist by profession. I do Worker's Compensation, personal injury, and psychiatric cases, all of which are extremely interesting. After working in doctor's offices and clinics for 25-plus years, I finally took the plunge a few months ago and am now an independent contractor, working out of my home and setting my own schedule. This was one of the very best decisions I've ever made. I now have the freedom to work when I want and as much as I want, as well as having the freedom to play when I want! Now that I work at my leisure (no pun intended!), I am able to watch my youngest grandchild a couple days a week to help his mommy save money on daycare.

I love reading anything I can get my hands on, crossword puzzles, bowling, NFL football (Go Colts!!), swimming, boating, and camping (actually, anything outdoors), and spending time with my family and friends, especially my grandbabies. My granddaughters are involved in cheerleading, soccer, and softball, and I try to go to as many of their games as possible. My grandson is not old enough for organized sports yet, but he's already talking about playing football and baseball. I can't wait!

My oldest daughter works fulltime and is taking classes online to finish her degree in business management. She is the mother of those adorable grandbabies I've already mentioned a few times ... AJ (9), Mac (7), and Bam Bam (3)!! Check out their pictures to see how cute they are, if you think I might be biased!!!

My son is married and a sergeant in the Army. They don't have any children yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. He's been to Iraq twice but has taken a training position stateside and won't have to go back, thank goodness. He has been to Iraq, jumps out of helicopters for a living, and is generally a daredevil when it comes to the sports and recreational activities he enjoys. Last month, he injured his shoulder and had to have surgery (doing fine now, thanks!) but not in the line of duty ... no, he hurt himself playing touch football, of all things. At least he made the touchdown!!!

My youngest daughter just graduated from college in May. She is a graphic design artist, lives in a cute little apartment in downtown Indy, and is just loving life right about now. Last March, she made it to the final tryouts for America's Next Top Model (the 5'7" & under season, since she is only 5'2" tall) before being cut. Oh ... I almost forgot ... she is a vegetarian.

Needless to say, I am extremely proud of all my children.

Well, I guess that just about sums me up!

Hello everyone! I am Kayleigh, 23 years old, and I have lived in Connecticut for all but 1 year of my life, during which I lived in Maryland.

I got married in 2008, graduated with my Bachelor's in 2008, got my baby (a Rottweiler) in 2008, and was able to travel to 6 states in 2008. Unfortunately, this year has been horrible. My parents are getting a divorce, my husband and I have both been laid off from work, and my bills have sky rocketed (thanks tuition and car troubles).

Hi, I am Dora and I live in Columbia SC. Have lived here in the us for more than half of my life. I have become a us citizen in march of this year and am very happy I made this huge decission. I am originally from west germany. My life here primarily is about family, friends and having a good time.

I love classic music and some modern music as well, love going to movies and the koger center (life performing musicals, ballet and so on). October 31, of course its dracula time again, my girl friends and I get tickets every year.

I am a grandmother of two beautiful three year old twin boys, not identical, thanks god. When they are in action around here in the house it feels like I am watching four of them. Of course they do not call me grandma but oma. We love to go to the library, museums, playgrounds and the zoo.

I do gardening and grow flowers and I do my part of composting. I also love to read newspapers, books, magazines and I love knitting.

So, right now this is my life in a nutshell.

I have been living on my own for a few years here so I have a lot of house hold items and know what items I want/need, and a rough idea as to what are good. I'd rather spend a little extra money and get a good working item then have to keep buying new crappy ones every few months. I am a pet owner, I have a rabbit, rat and hamster. I have a room mate, she might live with me until about a month before I get married. I LOVE dvd's, movies, cooking, photography, computers, internet, board games, house hold appliances, printers, electronics, and a number of other things. What a great idea. I did my profile but there are things I don't think I covered.

Except for 3 months I have lived in New England. I was born in Manhattan but was adopted and grew up in Stamford, Vt. I moved to Maine 40 years ago but unless you were born in Maine, no matter how long you live here, you're "from away". All New England states are not the same; each is unique.

Everyone who knows me says I am the least judgemental person that they know.

I am an advocate for Technical Schools - or as we used to call them, trade schools - over private schools, high schools and even in sometimes even college. Trade Schools were once looked at as places for students who weren't smart enough for High Schools. I went to a Private School and atteneded college for a year. I have worked for over 40 years and only had a job that paid more than minimum wage for 7 years. Some of them weren't even minimum wage because I had to depend on tips. My husband repaired office machinery until computers took over. He went to a Technical School and learned to weld. The economy in our area is terrible but he has a great job with excellent benefits. There aren't a lot of people around here who can say that.

I read every day. I can't sit still for any amount of time without a book in my hand. I take one to every appointment I have so I will have something to do while I wait.

I watch General Hospital every day. I schedule appointments around it & don't answer the phone while it's on.

People have said I like animals more than people and in general with the exception of some friends and family, they are right. I love the process of naming my pets and put a lot of thought into it. My first Basset Hound was named Fortune's Fairing's Killer because a week before we bought her there was a news item about a "rare killer Basset Hound". When people met her and learned her name it always made them laugh. My first Scottish Terrier was named Dame Agatha after my favorite mystery author, Agatha Christie. The Scottie I have now has the unlikely name Pandi Pie. I started with the name Andrea after a friend. That got shortened to Andi. That turned into Andi Pandi and somehow got to Pandi Pie. I have a ferret named after Dr. Frank - "Ferret Face" - Burns on M*A*S*H*. I have a teacup dwarf named Spike for 2 reasons, #1) She is so tiny that she is the exact opposite of what you would think the name Spike would mean & #2) I have a secret crush on Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The exception to this naming pattern is our Beagle, Baby. Her name is completely self expainatory,

I think the Greatest Athlete of The Twentieth Century is Secretariat.

I have only had a computer for 6 months. I never understood what the big deal was. A year ago I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression and found it hard to go out and meet people. I felt more isolated every day. My huband bought me a little HP laptop and it has opened a whole new world for me. I don't use sites like facebook or yahoo but I love talking to people on sites like this and using e-mail. I feel connected to the world again. I have no real knowledge about computers but this one is so simple to use that I have no problem using it.

At the age of 23 I learned that sometimes one person can accomplish a lot if they start a ball rolling. My father was disturbed that there was no Veteran's Memorial in Stamford, Vt. It seemed to mean a lot to him so I wrote to the Senators, Representatives and the Governor about it. I couldn't believe what followed. Before I knew it there were plans made, construction started and Stamford had a Memorial for veterans from WWI through Viet Nam. (Unfortunately they have had to add Iraq. Iran and who knows what other wars may come.) My father and the Governor unveiled the Memorial and he told me later that it was one of the proudest moments of his life. I had been somewhat of a screw-up after College and it was the first time in my adult life that I knew my father was really proud of me. I still have a picture of the unveiling and I can remember how I felt when he praised me.

My screen name comes from Gaelforce Post Script, the Scottish Terrier who won Best In Show at the Westminster Dog Show in 1995.

I am a grateful recovering alcoholic. It took me a long time to accept that alcoholism is a disease. I always felt it was a weakness and I was ashamed of it. It took me even longer to realize that while the disease is incurable, it can be treated and one day at a time, it can be controlled.

I loved reading about the rest of you. I don't know how interesting the things I wrote were but it was a lot of fun. I said things that I haven't said to people around me.

One thing I need to add is that even as I was withdrawing in general, I was always on a soap box about - and still am - is the neutering and spaying all pets and the importance of supporting local animal shelters.

Hi, I am Durinda (De) from Durand, MI. I was born in Jackson Mi, lived there until I got married then moved to the area surrounding Flint Mi. I have been happily married for 40 years (in October) to a real nice guy. He is my best half! We have two kids, a son 24 and a daughter 19. I also have a beautiful granddaughter who is 18 months old. I never knew having a grandchild was so fullfilling! We live in the country and have 2 dogs & 2 inside cats. At last count there are 4 permanent outside cats,(all who have been dropped off......there is a neon sign flashing SUCKER LIVES HERE!) and numerous cats who come for the food. There is a dairy farm across the road so people just naturally think they always need cats around....unfortunately they find themselves on this side of the road! I love reading and going off road trail riding in our Jeep. Like to go to the casinos too. Never win big but manage to play all night on a few bucks swapped between my hubby & I.Good fun for us old folks! I love getting freebies & couponing. Not too many freebies anymore, sign of the times? I was chosen to have a Houseparty for Clairols hair coloring. It was a HUGE success!!Loads of fun. Well Guess thats about all foe me now. Hello all. I am Darlene, I've been on VP for a little over a year. Got busy and didn't visit for a while, so I do not believe I ever introduced myself. OOPS! I work part-time outside the home, and working on my business at home. Both give me pleasure as I enjoy talking with people.

Before all of this in the beginning, I was a stay at home Mom. I always wanted to be there for my kids. When I did in the beginning my friends and others seem to look down upon me. Like don't you get bored, "Your just a SAHM" well after time they admired the fact I did. I kept up with current events. I knew more what was going on in the world then they did. I guess my brain was suppose to turn to MUSH! I wouldn't give up the opportunity to do it again. Sure we sacrificed items, but that was our choice.

I love to cook, bake, craft, willing to learn anything new. One day I will take pottery classes that is something that has always interested me. So I guess I shall. Soon as I get the time. I love to crochet and make afghans, although time consuming. Still have the one I made almost 30 years ago, and it still looks good even after plenty of washings. I once for a class in school had to make a stuffed animal, I gave it to my boyfriend, now my hubby. He asked where I bought it, told him I made it. He said no really where did you buy it? Over the years he has learned how crafty I can be.

I've been married 27 years as of this past August 14th. We have a son 26 and a daughter 22. Hard to believe. Time really does fly fast I think once you hit 21, you look forward to that day, and next thing you know it your 29....lol....I mean somewhere in the 40's.

That's enough boredom for now. I am glad I came to VP's. I've met, well actually got to know some people and express my opinions. Great idea!

Started out with a Triumpf , was to much kicking , not for me , then i bought a 1976 600 cc BMW , from there a BMW RT 1000 cc 1980 , from there i bought a 84 Goldwing Aspencade i really liked with all the Lights and trimmimgs and Trailer . Then the 86 Softail . Now iam retired since 2002 can afford only 2 Cars that gets us around . But make the most of it since you still joung and keep the tires up ! Good riding .

Hi All! I'm Nicole. I am a social butterfly from downstate Illinois. I love to meet and chat with new people. I have 5 children, 7 nieces, and one nephew. I have been forced to learn a LOT about children's tastes. I also have an other half to whom I have been married for 12 years.

I like to sew, cook, travel (although I don't get to do enough of it), and read. I love music. I play the flute and once upon a time also the french horn. I help teach AWANAs at church. This year I venture into the land of the Cubbies. They are adorable...Lets see if I still think that in a few weeks.

As for work, currently I am at home taking care of the squirts..Contemplating home schooling one of them. Other than that, I am a CNA/CCMA who has contemplated going back to nursing school. I have had the CNA for 6 years, and the CCMA for one. I love to help take care of people.

Hello Everyone. I'm Kim. I was born and raised in Texas and have never lived anywhere else but I spent several summers as a kid in Caddo, OK. Never heard of it? Exactly... this country girl is happily married to her cajun city boy and I'm goin Cajun City next year... it's gonna be a wild ride. Since I lost my momma its time to get my husband closer to his so we can give her all the hugs and loves and support she could ever want cuz the one thing I've realized in the last 3 weeks is there are 60 year old folks who still have both parents living and I'm not even 30 and I dont have either one. It's hard. The one thing I take away from it all is that my parents will meet me at those golden gates one day with everyone I love and miss that has left this world for the next. If you have family you havent seen or spoken to in a while or someone you see everyday I urge you to call them, hug them, tell them how much you love them because one day they'll be gone and you'll miss all those days when you wish you could call them,hug them and tell them you love them or even just spend a day with them. We are guaranteed one thing in life and that's our family. Cherish them for when they are gone you will miss them. Sorry for my rambling... its become my thing in the last month.

I've been a member of viewpoints for almost a year and just now getting around to actually lookin around and viewing the site. I'm 29 yrs old and . I had surgery in august so now i'm pretty much home bound with my laptop for company while my husband is working all the time.

Now I'm gonna start this part by saying most things I know or try I teach myself. From baking and decorating and cooking to fixing cars and airbrushing and just for kicks right now since I am home bound I spent 2.00 on a college algebra book ( alibris online is an EXCELLENT site for used books at reasonable prices) and I'm teaching myself college introductory and intermediate algebra.

I love my truck. I like cars in general and working on them.With a recession in our country right now your best investment is a set of mechanics tools (30 bux at most at walmart, we arent talkin bout those 300 dollar sets... but i'd love to have one) and the repair manual for your model of car(15-20 dollars at any auto parts store or online). It cost at least $100.00 to have someone put a set of disc brakes on your car and you can do it in about 2 hours and with about 25-30 dollars. If you arent mechanically inclined find yourself a local mechanic you can trust and stay with them. jSupport your local community!!!!! But heed on the side of cautions... look for mechanics that are certified and have been in the area several years. Ask around for referrals. Dealerships and big chain mechanic shops will charge you an arm and a leg for something that costs them 50 cents.

I love to bake cakes and decorate them.I like to cook. I like to make things I have never eatin and invent recipes I've never seen. My husband is my guinea pig. LOL He'll eat anything... except flan. I take recipes I wouldnt usually eat and take out the things I know I dont like and add things I think will go in place of those things. I havent too terribly messed it up yet. LOL

My husband and I live in Temple Tx right now but anxiously await our move to his hometown of New Orleans, LA in April 2010. We love to travel and we LOVE road trips. we have 12 nephews and 4 neices but no kids of our own yet. We value are family. The kids are the most important thing in the world to us. Until we were already married very few people knew we were getting married. We look forward to hopefully having children one day to add to our expansive family.

So for now you can catch me online pretty much all the time since my husband wont let me work on the truck while I'm wheelchair bound and in a cast for a few months. But my 15 month old neice, the Beautiful Chloe comes to keep me company and occupied about 4 days out of the week. They grow up sooooooooo fast. Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am still relatively new to Viewpoints but have loved my new favorite website for reviews on everything. I am currently a student with the University of Phoenix online program. I will be receiving a G-HRM certificate from them very soon (only 3 weeks left in my last class). I will then be studying for the PHR certification through the SHRM/HCRI program. It is all very boring so I will go on to a much more enjoyable subject...my kids! I have a wonderful step-son, who is 10, and a precious daughter, who is 17 months old. When they are in bed at night I finish homework and sneak up to the computer to catch up on my Viewpoints reviews and other online fun stuff. Hi, I'm glad I stumbled upon viewpoints. It's a great way to voice your opinion on products. I've noticed that members have posted some wonderful photos of family. I have a grown daughter here in San Diego but no little ones. I work for social services and I am a student at Ashford University on-line. I went back to school last year and I should graduate the end of next year 2010. I spend a lot of time studying, but I keep telling myself to make time to practice my jewelry making because it allows me to be creative. Once you know how to make jewelry it's hard to pay the prices for some items because you always tell yourself, "I can make that."

I'm Wanda. I have three grown children and two small granddaughters. I spend most of my days with children. Mostly family kids, but I take care of a few others I've known for several years as well.

My husband and I dabble with gardening and are concerned with environmental issues. I love to read...almost anything, and if I watch tv I'm pretty much a drama show addict. Like the Food Network too, but don't often get the tv to indulge in that one.

Family of all kinds is very important to me. I visit family web sites and e-mail with family members on a regular basis.

We have three dogs that are in their senior years, and a Goldfish that will apparently live forever. We got it when my boys were in grade school and I'm still taking care of that thing :)

Hello. I'm Katherine. I live in Washinton DC. I currently work for a company called Maurice Electric Supply. I am a sales consultant. I sale lighting fixtures for residential homes and I do some commercial jobs. When I am not working, I am either at home watching television, at the movies, shopping at the mall or out to dinner. I do enjoy going to the movies. My favorite genre is Horror and some Sci-Fi. I do not have a favorite restaurant but I do enjoy Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Phillips and TGI Fridays.

People that never lived in DC but want to or is new in town usually ask me where are the hottest clubs in the area. I don't go to clubs much but I can say this for those who are interested areas like Adams Morgan, Georgetown, U Street and Dupont Circle would be the place to go if interested.

I am single. I have no children. I have never been married but would love to. Family means everything to me. I hope and pray to have my own some day.

I am a little shy when first meeting someone. I talk very little because I am usually trying to feel my way through. But once I get to know a person I loosen up and the people I meet tend to find out that I am all heart and can be a lot of fun.

I have wonderful nieces and nephews. I am closer to my nieces at home in the DC area. They find my lifestyle very interesting since my taste is not to far from theirs. Especially when they can't wait to be an adult. So shouting out to my family and friends and my wonderful nieces who never keeps me out of the loop of things, I love you very, very much.

If you have children, it is a wonderful place! There you can also take a boat cruise on Lake Michigan. My niece had her reception on one of the boats - I had to take sea sick pills but it was fantastic. Hi everyone. My name is Linda and I am west757 online. My husband and I live in Moorestown, NJ and we have three grown children. We are expecting our first grandchild in October. Can't wait!!

I am a semi retired homemaker. Semi retired you ask? Well, since my youngest is a sophomore in college, my "mom" chores have definitely diminished giving me a some free time. However, our middle child is severly handicapped and he lives with us. He requires 24/7 care which my husband and I and a cadre of nurses give him. My youngest, beside being a college student, is also a softball catcher for her school, so we try to catch as many games as we can.

We are also the proud "human" parents of three terriers, Monty (Cairn), Abby (mix of Cairn and Westie) and Yuri (West Highland). They are pretty active and keep us hopping. Our house is currently on the market and I keep busy making sure it is presentable for potential buyers while trying to sort through years of collectibles. We hope to downsize soon!

I am active in our community and was recently reelected to the school board for my third time! I really enjoy this "volunteer" positon. It feels great to have an active voice in our school system, especially for the special education students.

Hi, I'm Stacey. I've been on here for a while but just now introducing myself. I'm 30, married with a 20 month old daughter. I've lived in Chicago my whole life, in pretty much the same area. only moved 3 times, most recently a year ago to the Avondale neighborhood.

I'm a SAHM. I quit my job halfway through my maternity leave. I just couldn't bear to go back to work and leave my daughter in the care of someone else.

When I did work, it was mostly office work. My last job being 5 years in the office of a heating and cooling supply house.

We have a mini Shih Tzu and a black and white cat.

I've been married for almost ten years to my wonderful husband. We have four great children. We are a homeschooling family and enjoy the freedom of being able to choose this option for our family. I grew up on the east coast. I'm a wife to a disabled Iraq Army veteran (2 tours). I've lived in 5 states, I hated Fort Hood :P I love my pets. I live in Iowa, which is where my retired husband is attending school. I am loving it! I have 2 kitties and 1 little rambunctious puppy. I lost my friend I had for my whole marriage: my good old dog Bailey in April. I like to read and take pictures and ride my bike around my town exploring things. I have no children, but admire those who take it on! I'm conservative, but open-minded. I am an advocate for breast cancer research and free and low-cost mammograms to all who need them. I lost my mom to the disease when I was 15.

Hey, everyone! I've been on Viewpoints a little over a month now and figure it's probably time to introduce myself to the community. My name is Darcy, and my husband and I live just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. I work in the mental health field, which is one of those jobs that you tend to carry home with you, so I have to find outlets in the evening...enter Viewpoints and Facebook!

I wanted to point out something I just noticed this week...I've been on several other major websites that have communities and discussion boards. I have yet to see one negative, rude, or inappropriate comment on Viewpoints. I've seen other discussion boards where foul language and disparaging comments are more frequent than anything positive or helpful, and I just think this is such a classy, wonderful group of folks who have gathered here. I'm so excited to be a part of this site!

aloha!

i'm krista and i have lived on the kona coast of the big island for nearly six years now! before that i lived my entire life in san diego county--born and raised in ramona, and settled into married life in santee.

i've been married to the most patient man alive for 14 years, and our daughter will be 12 in june. add to the mix our two cats and two parakeets, and our condo is usually completely chaotic. i'm also a neatfreak that is constantly overwhelmed and out-voted by two dedicated pack rats, so anything that helps my "everything has it's place" mentality is a good thing!

i love baseball (go padres!), books, music, american idol, painting and redecorating, my little pink laptop, sharpie markers, most television comedies, eBay, going to concerts and my roomba, among many other things.

i work at a local utility company and write at night. maybe i'll finish writing a book someday, but mostly i write bits and pieces for my own enjoyment that will never be strung together into anything cohesive.

my current goal is to hurry up and pay off my mom-car that my husband thought i should be driving and buy myself the mini cooper convertible that I THINK i should be driving. :)

Hello Everyone. I'm Kevin. A AZ native that's always looking for a new way to stay cool in the summer. Which is officially here as it's been over 100 for over a week now. Time to hibernate for the summer! I have a wife and 14 year old daughter and we like to travel as much as humanly possible. HI All, I will be going by "LUEYBUG". I have 2 children ages 35 and 31 and raised them as a single Mom. I am now raising a grandson who is 10 years old...I have had custody of him since he was 5 months old.

I work full-time and then run in the evenings and weekends full-time, as the chauffer and biggest fan to my grandson at different sporting events!

I love to read and Jonathan Kellerman is my favorite all time author. Gardening is my way to relax and remove myself from everyday stress. My all time favorite thing and place is a Beach...anywhere, just so there is SUN, sand and the wonderful sound of the waves rushing to shore...This sound can completely remove me from all sounds around me...I can shut the world out completely.

Experimenting with different coffees and teas are a hobby for me, as well as experimenting with the foods I cook. I love to change recipes around, to add things for a new taste.

Poetry and writing essays take up alot of my time and I currently have a few poems in publication.

Wow!! Now you know more about me then most people I come into contact with on a daily basis.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Meredith, I just got started on viewpoints a few days ago. Actually, about a week. I have written a few reviews, got a couple of pts. for Mypoints. I was raised in a small town in Calif. (Pixley). Very small.! Going from such a small town, to a huge town like Phoenix, Az. really changed my aspect on driving, lol. It took me a couple of years of driving here, to get used to all the crazies out there. I've been here 15 yrs. now and have adapted. I love dogs, have 3. Chelsea, Gizmo, and Brandy. They are Bichi poos, and Gizmo is a Shitzu poo. Have some fish, love watching them in the tank. I work at a convienence store. My hubby is an electrician. We are buying our house. In this crazy economy we are lucky to both still have jobs. I am 56 yrs. old and looking forward to the next 30 years! I quit drinking about 9 months ago, and so my health is a lot better. That about sum's it up for now.

Hi, I'm Barbara. I live in Southern California close to the beach. I have three wonderful kids and four really wonderful grandchildren. In the business world, I was a sales and marketing exec back in the day when you could make money at it. I sell home goods and collectibles on line now and take care of my 92 year old mother.

I still have a teenager at home, who I love to pieces. My two older children are great people and my best friends.

I write a lot of poetry, mainly for my family, for those times when they need just the right words to bring them up and keep them going. I've started quite a few stories and always lost interest half way through.

In the business world, I wrote a lot of copy, boring stuff about boring products. I love the online community. I love gardening. I love cooking. I love entertaining too. I love to travel and truly miss that part of my old career. Adventure is in my soul.

I have been environmentally conscious my whole life. It came from my mother who always taught me to cherish nature and not to waste it foolishly. I am a girl scout leader who also volunteers for many community projects. I believe in the spirit of community. I am a proud supporter of our new president, Barack Obama.

Hi my name is Donna. I live in Newberry Springs, CA which is about 30 miles out of Barstow and 50 miles from Victorville. I am only about two hours from Las Vegas. Newberry Springs is in the middle of nowhere in the high desert. I do not like the cold but love the heat. Although I was born in Ohio I have lived most my live in California. I do not like cities because people piss me off because many of them are stupid and do stupid things. I am 46 and married to a wonderful man named Jim who is 56, this is my second marriage and his third but we have been married for 15 years and before we married I told him the only way he would get rid of me was to die because I would not go through another divorce. My boys think more of Jim than they do of their own father who is an idiot and that's being nice. I am currently a housewife but have worked outside the home. I have three grown boys Bryan who is 26, Kevin who is 24 & Steven who is 23. I also have two wonderful grandkids KJ age 4 and Kadie age 2. I have 5 golden retrievers. I love my family and they come before everything else in my life. I have only nine fingers as my ring finger on my right hand was amputated about 8 years ago. My favorite things are reading books, playing on the computer, movies (mostly DVD's), crafts, hunting, shooting, off-roading, camping and of course anything to do with my family.

Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I just joined Viewpoints. I've been looking around this site for several hours now, and it's like the Facebook for consumer reviews! It's great :) I just moved to Chicago a year ago and really love it here (except the cold is a problem...). I would consider myself a bargain hunter in the sense that I always will look for the best deals on electronics, vacations, and the like before I purchase something. I am not very product loyal being that if the price drops on one product that is similar to another, I will usually switch unless there is a significant difference between the two. When I travel, I usually just have dates in mind and then find the best place to go where theres a good price. I love to be active, watch movies, be outside, and just enjoy my life. I enjoy being with family and friends a lot. I am looking to find a job that will allow me to live by this quote: "Find a job you love and you will never work another day in your life". I hope my reviews will help some of you make more informed decisions, and thanks in advance for all of your opinions as well!

I am Darlene...........married.......retired........one small spoiled boy named Ollie (cockatiel), Lived in the New Orleans area my entire life up until 3 years ago. Now live in Houston area because hubby found work here. Besides my family, I miss the good spicy food that Louisiana is famous for......all other food is "bland". So, if I cook anything that needs a little punch in taste, out comes the seasonings that I can not live without. You can take the "cajun" out of Louisiana, but you can't take away her cravings for the spicy foods.

Hello. I'm an opinionated individual with many likes, interests, and a few dislikes. Chief among the likes: coffee. Chief among the dislikes: bad coffee. Other than that, I'm a pretty easy going guy. Well, maybe not entirely easy going. I won't put up with bad products, nor will I stay quiet about bad customer service, but I have been known to give some companies a second chance. Conversely, I'll speak well about great products and great service.

I call Orlando Florida home most of the time. I have a beautiful wife and one cat, but no kids for now. By trade I'm a business consultant with a background in IT. I travel a lot, primarily between Florida and Colorado, working with start-up's and small businesses.

For fun I like reading, mostly non-fiction with some fiction occasionally. I love reading about businesses and entreprenuership. I also live on the computer and Internet, and I'm a bit of a news junkie. I also love watching movies when I have time, and of course I love writing reviews. Finally, in addition to being an aviation buff (although I don't fly myself) and being a minor gear head (love the auto's section), I also enjoy biking, running, boating, and some hiking (they'd kick me out of Colorado if I didn't like hiking at least a little bit).

Hi, my name is Shannon. I live in ILL. most of my life. I am a proud mother of 3 children, two girls and one boy, ages 11,5, and 2. I am also a wife to my wonderful husband.

I have had it ruff these past almost 3 years. My son was born dead. I wasn't able to hold him, kiss him, touch him for over a week and half. The doctor told me that he didn't know if he was going to make it. They had no clue what caused this. It was a normal pregency and planned C-section. Finally when I was able to bring him home he was placed on a heart and lung monitor for over 9 months of the beginning of his life. It was really hard because everytime he stopped breathing and his heart stopped his machine went off and down to the hospital he had to go. My son has been in and out of the hospital more then most people have been in their adult years. He has had over 30 drs and been in the hospital over 15 times in the past 2 1/2 years. My son went under majoy brain surgery because they thought that because all of his delays that is was caused from the fluid that was on his brain. I have waited for over 2 years for my son to call me mom and finally the day after he had a shunt placed into his brain he call me mom. I started to cry and just held him for the longest time. He starts school in March, but I am scared because of everything that he is going threw. I know that he will be safe, but I am very protective of him and so is his sisters. The doctors still have no clue what is wrong with him and how he has gotten this way, but they think that he might have gigantic disorder. His head is the size of a grown man and his heigth is that of a 4 year old child.

Now I do have two beautiful daughters and they are just outstanding. My eldest is a straight A student and my 5 year old is just a dramam queen in the making.

My husband almost dies last july. He has lung failure due to his weight. He finally stopped drinking because he was an alcoholic and went under the gastro bypass surgery Aug of this year. He has went from 469lbs down to 318lbs in this short amount of time. I am so proud of him.

I am proud to be who I am. I am a mother of many problems with my family but I keep it together for them. I also bring in my neices and nephews when they have no place to go. I have brought in many other kids from my town into my house for free so that the parents could work. I love to recycle, and make my town a better place for my kids. I also try my best for help out with the schools.

Morning! I'm Brendan, known at one point as Sleep "E". That was my stage name back in the day.

I'm superactive, but have learned to focus my time. I'm married with 3 children, so my time isn't mine anymore. My family has helped me make the most of my time. It's limited...greatly...so I have to work smart and fast. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm not just a member, but also president of procrastinators anonymous. We're still waiting for the right time to start meetings, so check with me tomorrow for date/time/location.

In line with my family, my greatest passion is writing. I'm a writer...I write. Whether it's short stories, articles, poetry, novel (taking a while for that one), articles, copy, press releases, jotting notes, taking class note, technical writing, you name it....I write. I'm waiting on soemne to develop the waterproof notepad so I don't have to run dripping wet down the hall when I have an inspired though in the shower. You can read some of my works at my blog.

I'm a bit of a paradox. I work very well with others, but I'm shy, so I it's not always comfortable for me. In business or leadership settings, I'm at the forefront of discussions and decisions; unafraid to speak up. At a social gathering, I'm chatting with the flies. And I don't drink, so I'm usually soberly, keeping to myself. I warm up quickly, just still have trouble initiating casual conversation.

I'm a volunteer having worked my way all through the ranks: volunteer, group organizer, organizational volunteer coordinator, board member. I love giving up my time for others. Wait, did that come out right. Yeah, I guess it did.

I'm learning to try new things. For me, that's a MAJOR step. I'm the guy who once brought McDonald's into a Chinese restaurant.

Sometimes I think it's a miracle that I can even work a computer at all. I'm a dinosaur & most of my reviews show it. It's funny - growing up on rock 'n roll, that one of my theme songs is by a country group - The Bellamy Brothers. The other is also by a country artist. From my truckin' days - "Prisoner of the Highway" the original by Ronnie Milsap. Thus came my old C.B. handle - Prisoner. P.S. NEVER, EVER tell anyone on the C.B. that he's a "good buddy". I would laugh so hard at the Hollywood movies. A good buddy in trucker lingo is a rest area - how should I put this - GAY man looking for a good time.

Hey everyone! I am new to Viewpoints and still trying to figure it all out.

I am Marilyn. Been married 37 years. I am a mom, waiting to be a mother-in-law and then hopefully within a couple of years a grandma. The wedding is in January! Near Cabo. We are all very excited!

I have always been a small town person and love living in the woods. Lived in northern Nevada for years and years but now live in beautiful north Idaho!

Had breast cancer earlier this year, but caught it early and it was small. I am having my 6 month follow-ups right now, and everything is looking good.

Very artsy crafter over the years. Love quilting, photography, stained glass, writing, watercolor and Pogo. Like to go fishing and camping and walking. Enjoy having a bunch of people over and cooking dinner for them.

I am a Christian! Love my Jesus, love my husband, love my son and future daughter-in-law, love my sisters and nieces and nephews, love my church family. Love...it's the first and greatest commandment.

I rarely get to write much beyond reviews the last few months- life has been very overwhelming for me. But I wanted to take a moment to say hello FINALLY here- and just tell you all that I enjoy reading the reviews you have written when I get the chance. Once life settles down a bit more I hope to be able to spend more time in the community. Until then, I will keep enjoying reading what you have all written!

I am a makeup artist/ computer builder-tutor, having the unqiue two sides of my brain equally strong. That can lead to some frustration, but it is also good fodder for an interesting life. :) I like off beat music, movies, and other things that is not mainstream necessarily. Wow, it's good to be here and read all about "you all" ;>) I am new to ViewPoints and am really having a great time. Have even been fortunate enough to have made some "fans & friends" already. So what can I tell you about me?

Hmmmm, I am a book-store browser, museum-goer, music-lover, wine-taster, would-be gourmet cook, word-game aficionado, applauder-of-the arts and a great lover of life.

Up until last Sept, I lived in Laughlin NV, working at Harrahs Casino. I had moved to the desert in '97 to recuperate from spinal surgery. Before that, I had been a school bus driver in Wappinger Falls NY. I moved back to NYS just before my 62nd b-day and decided to take early retirement.

I have 2 sons and 3 grandkids. They are the reason I came back east. I missed the 2 oldest grandsons growing up and didn't want to miss out with the youngest (a girl).

Thanks for being here, hope to get to know many of you.

Let's see, I'm from beautiful, Wisconsin, orginally from Central Illinois. I've been married to my best friend for 35 years. We have two beautiful grown daughters, 2 wonderful s-i-l and 2 of the prettiest sweetest granddaughters ever. Our family also consists of our fur and feather babies. Woody is our little old man. He's a rescue baby and the best we've ever had. Tonight he protected me from a pile of leaves. Good Dog Woody. And Dumb and Dumber, our parakeets are also rescue babies. We've had them for over a year and they still hate humans. They only tolerate me cause they know where their food comes from. :)

We live in the sticks. A small rural area surrounded by nature, woods, lakes, fields and forests. Nothing is better than waking up to deer at your birdfeeders or Sandhill Cranes napping under the Lilac Bush. We are nature freaks and shoot with a camera not with a gun. We're sky watchers by night and scenic lovers by day.

My passion is crafting or being creative in some form. I love design work and recently designed my new kitchen. Hubby is a master woodworker and is building my perfect kitchen as we speak. It's a slow process but it's going to be beautiful and one of a kind, just like we are.

I be char, Well no i be a charmine (its two words) Not the toilet paper. I am a 29 year old mother of 3 wonderful and highly challenging daughters. 7,5,4 I was born on march 8 1979. On the wonderful island of oahu I was quickly shipped off to the island of kauai and promptly returned to the island of oahu ( my mother unstable ) . Where i quickly became an addition to my grandparents home. My grangfather at the time was a marine so i was raised with the ahh... "semper fi" model. At the awesome age of 21 i met my first " common wealth partner" and traveled with him to tenn. Where my very beautiful and first child was born. we lived there for roughly 2 years then moved to florida where my second daughter was born.

My turn! 31 year old father of twin girls and a son! I enjoy spending a lot of time with my children. Yes that includes watching Open Season (a.k.a. The Bear Movie) 10 times a day and lately Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (a.k.a. Willy Wonka) 15 times a day. I've been in Georgia all my life with the exception of the year I spent outside of Winston-Salem, NC. I love playing sports. Golf and basketball in particular. Hi everyone!
I'm Kim or u can find me on the net as ~TrulyConfuzd or BEADLBRAIN~ I was referred to this site from another and I'm so glad I was, I love it!

Well a little about me, I'm 46 and have lived in West Virginia most of my life. I'm a country girl at heart, but live just outside the city of Parkersburg right now..the thought of selling this house n moving country again is always back there in ma brain somewheres.

My kids are grown and I have 6 wonderful grandkids, a dog named Rebel (oops my character is showing) lol
We don't travel alot, but enjoy it when we do. I love the beach, or a camping trip with family. We do travel to visit good restuarants in WV and Ohio.

I work at home and, as an artist have worked one time or another in most all crafts (sewing, knit, crochet, doll making, paper making,scrapping, wood working, creating anything One of a Kind OOAK) lately it's paintings on antique roofing slates.
I had a business restoring houses till back problems put that on hold, so now I'm selling my art and working on my websites (well when I can get myself away from games and painting!)
I also enjoy gardening and doing home improvement projects, working with clay/bead making...hence BEADLBRAIN~
I'm new to reviewing but tend to let others know exactly what I think so this is going to be a lot of fun :)
If I have to take something back to a store, my friends or family tend to wonder off somewhere...let them give me flack about a return and even the customer srv staff will stand back!
Grr that happened with a coffee pot recently..oh well, better save that for a review lol

I have a dog, Lucky. He is just like one of the kids. All three of them get spoiled. I love to... sew, cook, clean, bead, scrapbook, play, camp, fish, travel, shop, watching those awsome tv shows. Hello, my name is Amy. I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. A farming community with all of about 800 people. Growing up in a small town afforded me with my simple and honest values and morals. I'm just a simple, hard working, honest country girl.

At the age of 18, I moved away for my first experience away from home. Moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, it didn't work out. Moved back to Michigan and then in the year 2000 moved again to live in Oregon. Lived there for 6 years and now I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

I'm married with 3 sons. A 16, 13 and 9 year old keep me on my toes. I've been married for 10 years but with my husband for 14 years. I was married before at the age of 18, but the marriage failed. Being so young and naive, I was clueless to life back then.

My experiences in life have given me a good amount of knowledge in just about everything. I like sports (nascar mostly), gardening, reading, music, walking on the beach, cooking, graphic design, abstract art, my computer, trivia games, dice games, Blackjack.

I am a homemaker now, but have worked as a waitress in a honky tonk bar, I've worked in a fast food resturaunt, I've worked in the deli, as a cashier, a stocker/bagger, & carry-out at a grocery store and I've had my own business as a daycare provider. I've been lucky enough to be a "hands-on mom" for the last 8 years. Soccer, baseball, football, track... My kids are always busy and I'm proud to be able to be a part of it.

Hi! My name is Karin, and I have lived in Connecticut all of my 37ish years (almost 38). I live in New Britain with my son, Kaisson and our 3 cats...Jack (the baby), Sophie (Fiffy), and Lucy (the Pip)...oh, and our 2 remaining dopey giant goldfish (out of 10) Mutt and Jeff...survival of the fittest in the 100 gallon fish tank!

I am a Special Education Prek teacher in our public school system, and Kaisson is in 2nd grade in one of our elementary schools. We spend much of our free time playing video games (Lego Star Wars is our FAVORITE!!), and reading Junie B. Jones books, but we love to be outside playing when the weather is nice.

My personal interests include obsessive addictions to primetime television...thank goodness for DVRs!! I could definitely solve ANY crime with the number of CSI episodes I have under my belt! I also adore House, Law and Order, The Fringe, Grey's Anatomy, and a ton others....

I love wine, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and looking forward to summer vacations...

Hello everyone, I'm Crysta! I've been writing on Viewpoints for a year now and love it! :)

I live in Garden City, Michigan (The same neighborhood as Mindyvol, up there!). I am married, have a 13 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. I own a licensed daycare and work long days but look forward to checking in on Viewpoints at night.

I love to read, its my passion. I love the smell of a bookstore, library and a brand spanking new book! I read 2 or 3 books a week, I can't help it. I will stay up til the wee hours of the morning, reading. I started and run a local book club and really enjoy it! So if you have any book recommendations, send them my way!

I love being involved with my Church. I am a Youth Leader, a Nursery Worker and play on both the Church Volleyball and Bowling teams! I love being able to give back to the community and through Church, I get to do that!

In my spare time, when I find it, I like to scrapbook the millions of pictures that I take a year and spend time outside with a good book!

My biggest joy in life is my family. My husband and my children make me laugh, feel happy and complete! Whether we are out and about or just sitting at home, I am most content when they are here with me. Isn't life great?!

I am not sure how to define me. I am a mixture of old and new. I love tradition but question authority. I love genealogy, old diaries and cemeteries but I am equally comfortable among the living. I enjoy the water but love the mountains. I am carefree yet cautious, conservative yet liberal, trusting and loyal until given a reason not to be. I am intrigued with religions but am a staunch believer in my own. I love to travel, like sports cars and good food. I appreciate value but I am frugal in my expenditures. I take pride in my family and love men's collegiate basketball [Go Huskies!]. I love cats but only have a small dog. The only constant is that I am married to the same man who took me to my Senior Prom some 37 years ago.

Hi I'm Steve.

I somehow ran into VP in April of this year, and have been posting reviews ever since. My two kids both graduated from college this year, my daughter with dual degrees in drama and Spanish language, and my son in journalism. He now writes for a newspaper in Seattle.

I was married in Cancun about 4 years ago, and now live in Bellingham with my wife who is an environmental scientist, and a Portuguese Water Dog breeder of more than 20 years. The dogs keep us quite busy, and their numbers seem to always be getting larger for some reason.

I managed to pull off early retirement in mid April of this year, and have found myself so very busy, I can't imagine how I ever found time to work. My passions are travel and Corvettes, and can still never manage to cram enough of either into my life to pacify myself. So far, I've managed to travel to 34 states, 3 continents, and 23 countries, and my quest for travel continues.

I've been into photography for over 30 years, and write articles for many travel web sites. Several on a regular basis. In November I'm going on my first camel safari, (I guess thats what you call it), and have plans to visit Mecca, (aka National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY), in 2009.

Hi. I'm Alex and I'm a native Floridian. I've lived in Miami for most of my life - except for a few years way back in the 1960s and early '70s - and in the same house for the past 30. I've dabbled in writing since I was nine, studied journalism in high school and junior college, including a stint as my campus newspaper's first foreign correspondent in Spain. I have been a pet-sitter, house-sitter, communications consultant, ghostwriter, and freelance writer (online) over the past 20 years.

Currently I'm single, helping take care of my mom, and trying - at least the best that I can - to make a difference by providing online shoppers (or just curious readers) with (hopefully) informative, witty, and entertaining reviews, not just here at Viewpoints but in other sites as well.

My favorite things? "Raindrops on roses..." Oh, wait. That's been done. Let's see...other than writing and/or reading, I like movies, pets, hanging out online with my friends on the 'Net and sometimes going out with my Miami friends, listening to music, Sid Meier's Civilization IV, my Star Wars collection, watching 24, attractive women, ice-cold Coca-Cola, travel (though that's expensive), MySpace, and eating chili dogs at Arbetter's.

Hi! I'm Angi from sunny Kansas. I'm a true Jayhawker and grew up in a small town of 1700 people in south-central Kansas near Wichita. Now I'm happily married and living in the Kansas City-metro burbs in Johnson County. I'm upbeat and cheerful (most days), and I like others to feel at home around me. I think it's those darned home-town values I embraced throghout the years.

I have two munchkins running around - Jack will be 3 at the end of September, and Zoey will be 1 at the beginning of September. The husband, Travis, is a moderator on the website http://www.youthink.com/ and a supervisor at a national weight loss call center. I work at a commercial GPS company, handling all the necessary copy. I actually recently had my first article published in a trade magazine!

However, I'm the company event planner. For large meetings, trade shows or even social events, I'm the person they turn to. It's not always the most glamorous job, but I love it. If anyone needs anything planned, weddings, birthdays or just a girl's night out, they turn to me.

One interesting thing to note is that I have survived 2 "major" tornadoes in the state of Kansas - the Hesston tornado and the McConnell AFB tornado. As a result I have a great respect for weather, but I still dream of earning a degree in meteorology.

Until then, you'll catch me walking with the kids outside or in the mall window shopping. My life isn't perfect, but I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Hi Everybody,

My name is Charles and I currently live in New Jersey after having moved to the Garden State four years ago from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, my birthplace. Yes, I'm a Canadian! My wife (MotherGrizzly on VP) and I have known each other for 8 years and will be married for four years this month. I have a 16-year old stepson and a 9-month old baby boy.

I'm a graphic designer and feel like I've been doing it my entire life (okay, 16 years does seem like a lifetime). In a perfect world, I would be outside in the backyard drawing and painting all day if it was possible. Maybe one day.

I would love to travel some more, and would definitely go back to Rome where I would purchase an Italian villa for one of my dwellings I plan to have all over the world.

Two secrets about me: I'm a comic book junkie (maybe that's not such a big secret) and, at one point, I was going to become a priest. Though the latter never happened, people spill their problems to me thinking I'm a walking confessional and have divine powers of absolution.

More importantly, I'm a chameleon. People can never figure out my ethnicity because, in reality, I'm a mutt. I'm a blend of so many things that in the end, for the sake of simplifying things, I generalize it by saying I'm Asian. Of course, Asia is a big continent with many different cultures residing in it so to narrow it down will take another lifetime to explain my genetic makeup. Even I get confused by it, and I've heard the story many times over!

Hi, I'm Mindy from Michigan. I've only been with Viewpoints for a short time but I really am loving it. Everyone is so nice and I really enjoy reading all types of reviews, especially the witty ones.

I'm a SAHM to Sawyer(4.5) and Sydney(3). My husband works in automotive, which is a scary field to be in these days. He is from Romania so I've been fortunate to have visited there twice, the most recent trip being last fall with the kids. Remind me to tell you about how I got locked in the Bucharest Airport bathroom sometime.

My husband and I love to travel and did quite a bit of it before we had kids. Now we find ourselves taking "exotic" vacations to local campgrounds and the Dairy Queen. I've been to all but three of the 50 states (North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho are still on my list) and have been to a few countries in Europe and some provinces in Canada. My hubby and I love cruising but I got pretty sick on the last two that we took (including our honeymoon in Hawaii), so I'll probably stick with our backyard kiddie pool from now on.

I have a Finance degree that I never really used, but the college memories are worth every student loan that I paid for it. Never one to settle down for long, I've lived and worked in different states and have had such jobs as a nanny, travel agent, hotel auditor, and quality analyst in the automotive industry.

When I grow up, I would love to live in northern California and hopefully work in the travel industry. Right now, I'm content to live in Michigan where all of my family and friends are. A wise friend once told me to live by the mantra "bloom where you are planted." That's what I intend to do.

What a great thread!
I am Angela. I am a happy wife of ten years. Our secret- we figured out early on that no one else would ever live with either of us! Our sweet daughter just turned nine and our lively son is almost five.

Before kids, I taught preschool through middle school. I had published some lesson plans and decided to try writing from home to stay connected to my field while enjoying being a stay at home Mom. I've had family and education related articles published in seven different print magazines and currently have the Kids Korner department in In The Kitchen magazine. This column is such a joy to me because I really love to cook and share that passion with my kids.

Last year I stumbled into on line writing and like the quick turn around and variety of options. I thank Lisa Carey for steering me to Viewpoints because I have always written reviews in my head. Maybe it comes from writing all those progress reports and report cards.

Now I homeschool our children so I say I still teach, just a longer day with a smaller class. We enjoy traveling and fishing as a family so often we take our classroom on the road. I do short stints at local academies and museums teaching cooking, art and preschool theme camps. I play guitar (not well, but kids gives a lot of credit for enthusiasm) and volunteer to lead music at a local preschool.

At home we like to grow herbs, roast marshmallows, play board games, play lacrosse and dance and sing. The truth is, I'll do anything to avoid doing laundry- shadow puppets, homemade volcanoes, snow cones...check out my Freezer Paper review and you'll see what I mean.
Well that's my Viewpoint...

Hi. Most of my real life friends know me as Larry. On the web, however, I mostly am known by some form of the word gambler. Back in the '50s I had a '56 Buick Century convertible. I had the name Moonlight Gambler (from a popular'50s hit) painted on it When CB got big I used that as my CB handle. It was just natural to use a shortened form when I got interested in the Internet. You will find me as gambler57 on some sites, gamblin_man on others, and as lgambler on Poker Stars. Yes, I do enjoy some gambling.

I was born in Kansas City, Kansas about 68 years ago and lived there until my family moved to North Carolina when I was fourteen. I returned to KC at around 20, got married, had the first of three children, a boy, and went to work at TWA. I was there until my first wife and the family that had added another boy and a girl, went to Los Angeles for a promotion at Continental Airlines. When Frank Lorenzo took it over I changed jobs again, moving to Annapolis, Maryland to join a company called ARINC that was owned by the largest commercial airlines. I retired from there 22 years later. My first wife passed away in 1994, shortly after we had moved from the hustle and bustle of the Western shore to the tranquility of the Eastern shore.

My current wife and our two youngest daughters started out as my neighbors. As sometimes happens, we got a little closer. We left our five grandchildren and our five kids last year to move to Vancouver, WA. We sold out most everything and moved in with Honey's dad so he wouldn't have to go into assisted living. Some people see what we did as brave or challenging. We see it as an adventure.

My hobbies revolve around the computer and a pretty small woodworking shop I am rebuilding after selling out most of my tools on the East coast. Since this area is new to me (Honey is from here) I am having fun exploring the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy sharing what knowledge I have with others so you will see me jumping in occasionally with a new review or six.

As the moniker implies, I live in New Jersey. I'm actually in central NJ and about 10 minutes from the ocean. As the New Yorkers would say, I live "down the Shore".

I'm a high school Biology teacher. It is hard, frustrating work. I also run a cat/dog rescue out of my home, so I'm always busy feeding, watering, scooping litter boxes, bathing, brushing, cleaning crates, etc. I also own 3 parrots who demand a lot of attention and clean-up of their own.

My husband and I were married just 2 months ago in Mexico. Sure we're newlyweds, but we've been together for 5 years already so not much has changed. If I could, I'd quit my job and move somewhere that is less corrupt and less expensive to live. I can't, though, because my entire family (including 3 grandparents and a great-grandmother) all lives in the next town over. I can't and won't leave them.

dovey here, I really like reading about everybody. I am first, a mom of two beautiful girls, 7 and almost 4 months. I grew up in MA and lived in NC for a while, now I am on the Cape. I am a freelance artist, and a former preschool teacher. I married young for all the wrong reasons, and turns out, 15 years later, Mr. Wrong really was Mr. Right, either that or we just grew up! We are always doing something to the house or yard, and both of us love to shop. I have three dogs, one a rescue.

I volunteer in the public school and introduce artists and their art to my daughter's classes. I enjoy all types of music and like to listen to the music of other cultures. When I taught, I encorporated art, music and culture into my curriculum.

I enjoy trying new recipes, and making up recipes. I like my house clean and like to organize things.

Hey, how ya doin? I'm Randall, aka Sparky, and I just wandered in a few minutes ago.

I was born in Fairfield CA, but I've lived all over the west, including the Oregon coast (rain rain rain ugh!), Lake Powell, UT (HOT!!!! but not much rain!!!!), Several different towns around CO, but currently residing in Aurora.

I've been a dishwasher, gas jockey, roustabout, roughneck, painter, carpenter, plumber, parks caretaker, guitarist, bassist, drummer, ranch hand, tree farm grunt, and bum. I'm currently (and for the past 20 years) an IT tech for a small computer business. So far this is the best of the jobs I've held, mostly due to the fact that I'm gettin kinda old and there's heat in the winter and A/C in the summer! d;-)

I enjoy readin, writin, (no 'rithmetic, sorry!), ridin the scoot up in them thar hills, playin music, listenin to music, wanderin around the cliffs and canyons, swimmin, skiing (water, not snow), knee boardin (although it hurts to do it these days), loafin around, workin on my house (it's a bit of a fixer-upper ya know!), or just plain old doin absolutely nothin! I'm happily divorced, have an 11 year old daughter, and 13 or 14 guitars.

I'm Katrena (bet you'd never guess that one) and I just started here. CyndiA talked me into it, so blame her. I've always enjoyed writing but figured nobody would ever want to read it, so I have a lot of children's books sitting in my hard drive at the moment.

I grew up in Cleveland, NC, where there was an unbelievable neighborhood watch program. There were more people in my dorm at UNC-Chapel Hill than in my home town!

I'm the youngest of four, and my siblings knew I was gullible. My sister talked me into eating live ants, and my brother convinced me to shake a jar of milk for half an hour before I realized it would never make butter.

My husband is a computer technician at Wake Forest University. I break them and he fixes them!

I'm the mother of three daughters, ages 6,4, and 9 months. I used to work full-time as a bone marrow transplant RN, but I want to be home to see my daughter's first steps and to be able to kiss boo-boos and to wrap my arms around my kids as much as possible. That means I moved to part-time (2-3 days/month) at the hospital and pursued other jobs closer to home.

I teach nursing assistants online and created the first online curriculum for nurse aides in NC. That's actually a bit comical since I have never taken an online class! I discovered I could get a free membership to the YMCA if I taught aerobics classes, so I teach step, cardio, kickboxing, boot camp, and yoga. I quickly discovered it's hard to skip class if I have to teach it!

Hobbies, hmmm.... I like to cross-stitch, read, bike, and enjoy flower gardens and the thrill of a fast roller coaster. Put me on those slow things that go around and around and I feel like throwing up!

All of the girls have food sensitivities, and I do too, so most of my reviews under the food category will have that slant. Quite a few people have food sensitivities and/or allergies and don't know it. You can check out my story of discovery in my post about the celiac website.

There you have it. That's me. It's been really nice to meet so many from such varied walks.

Like Mysticstarfish, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY - and I still consider it to the best place on earth. I left NYC about ten years ago for beautiful New Zealand, and I'm lucky enough to enjoy dual citizenship....so I may well move back there one of these days. I'm a published writer of short fiction, but my bread-and-butter job is that of Director of Development and Communications at not-for-profit that deals with civil rights advocacy. That's a fancy way of saying that I write grant proposals, develop advertising campaigns and resources, and coordinate events. Like a lot of people my age (41) I floated around for a while before settling on a career path. I taught special ed for several years, and worked at a shelter for survivors of domestic violence, among other things. On a personal note, I live with my partner of ten years, and I'm very close to my family - especially to my mother and three youngest nephews, who I visit in Florida several times a year. I love travel, and do as much of it as I can - something that American work schedules can make very difficult. I'd love for the USA to adopt the NZ tradition of everything closing down for summer, and everyone getting at least one month off.

Howdy. Im Jolie. And, I love this thread.

I am always on the go and never one to sit still. So, you can always find me out and about either at work, walking my dogs, hanging with my gal pals, going to a comedy club with my husband, off at a PTA meeting, organizing school activities or pulling my kiddies in the wagon off to the park. I am a master multi-tasker. I hate to sit at home!

While I work FT and have lots of personal interests, I think I define myself first and foremost as a mom. I have 2 great kids (4 and 2.5) and I love every minute I spend with them. While most parents are running to get out of the house, I am running to get home! (I credit my doting Italian Mom for making me realize the influence that a parent has over their children!)

On a personal level, I love culture-- everything cultural. If I had my way, I would spend my days with my kids in museums, traveling the world, sipping tea (no, I dont drink coffee), traveling to visit friends and my evenings at the theater, the opera, eating gelato, muscial festivals or dining out a local hole in the wall. Oh, and I would mix in a little pilates and dancing too. And, dont forget the champagne-- there is always a reason to celebrate life. :)I am also a big believer in giving back to my community. :) I like to volunteer, help people, be active in my kids school, politics, etc.

So, I never sit still. How about you???

Well, I'm L.B. and I'm the official VP anime geek (or as Meredith refers to me, 'anime guru'). I keep it very well hidden but I enjoy anime quite a bit. ^_^

Have been a reviewer for about 5 or 6 years now starting on various sites to hone my craft until about 3 years ago when I opened my own DVD review website (which currently has about 530 reviews published to it, give or take a few). I'm hoping to make reviewing into a full time career but its not an easy task.

Currently living on the north Oregon coast (Astoria).

let's see:
I just stumbled upon Viewpoints recently. Love it here! I'm new at writing reviews and such, but I figure I'll get the hang of it.
I'm 21, got married last August.. so it'll be a year soon! It's been an awesome year.
I graduated highschool in 2005, I went to nursing school right after at my parents pushing. I didn't finish.
I'm debating on going back for my LPN, or else I'm just going to get a medical office job. I have a form of rheumatoid arthritis, so I can't get through nursing school.
I LOVE to cook! That is what I invent. I am always googling and finding new ways to make things and experimenting.
I also love music. I play the violin and cello, I played viola for a year.. hated it! I started out with the Violin and then moved to the cello. The cello is my instrument. I love to dance. I love to sit and listen to music. I enjoy many varieties from classical, to porgressive jazz, to R+B, to rock, etc.
Right now I am a homemaker.. and I do work with the husband quite often. I do his secretarial work. He is a process server.. he's the guy showing up at your door with legal documents.. divorces, suits, debts, etc. I fill out the paperwork and descriptions for him.
The husband works on cars on the side. We own a 2001 VW Jetta TDI (Turbo Diesel Injected) and our pride and joy: 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SSL package.. he has it slightly modified. Stock the Evo has about 300ish wheel horsepower, he has around 400-450. It is an All wheel drive racing machine! We love it. He got the SSL package (Sunroof, sound, leather) The only 3 options available.. and yes, its yellow!
We live in the city of Buffalo Ny. We love the city life. We live in a pretty good sized apartment on Elmwood Ave. in Allentown area (its the artsy district). We are walking distance from some of the best restaurants, clubs, dessert places, and entertainment. We are a 5min. drive from the Canadian border (my sister married a Canadian) We love where we live. Our landlord is a good friend of ours so we hang out with him a lot.
We have parties at our place a lot. I love cooking for people and having people over!

Hi, I'm Jo. I'm a computer addict or at least at one time I really was one spending hours online. When there are fewer years ahead than there are behind things take on a different hue. Anyway I have 3 adult children. One's married and we're hoping to be grandparents someday soon; one is an M.D. and the other owns The Laundry Locker in San Francisco and just got engaged.

Hubby is a college prof; I am a retired Social Worker and formerly a personal trainer. We live on the beach with our adored Pomeranian and my NEW FISH!! His name is Lucky.

We love to travel but due to some issues with my mom we brought her up north and are staying home this summer. I write for several sites and have been on one or the other for over 8 years.

Two of the kids live in CA so we try to get out there as much as possible. Our one trip this summer will be 10 days between San Francisco and L.A.

I'm very glad to be here and enjoy Viewpoints a whole bunch. Jo

Hi, I'm Duke the PC DR. I go by that name because I repair, upgrade and build PCs as a hobby and a business. I also do contract IT tech support work. I am also a proctor for certification tests for Electronic Technicians Association International. I live in Las Vegas, NV but grew up in Nebraska.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources majoring in Range Science and Agronomy from the University of Nebraska. I also have CompTIA A+ certifications. I used to work for the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service doing conservation planning with farmers and ranchers.

I really enjoy playing video games. I enjoy reading and writing about games almost as much as I enjoy playing them. I also love watching movies, reading books and comics, hiking and botany. History is another of my interests, especially medieval times. I belong to a medieval reinactment group called the Adrian Empire. I do sword fighting in real armor, archery and crafts in the group.

I stumbled upon this site by accident one day. I really like it so far. I've done a lot of blogging and review writing on other sites like epinions.com, yahoo answers, 1UP.com, and AnswersWiki.

I am Ron or as most know me here "The Resident Redneck of Viewpoints"...lol I love to work around my house and do landscaping or gardening. I ride a 2008 V Star Classic which I have been modifying to my tastes. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 18 and this V Star is my 4th bike. Riding gives me peace of mind and relaxes me as well.

I am a retired (due to an accident) long haul truck driver and I still love to travel, even if I don't get paid to do it anymore...lol I am a person that likes to have fun and work with my hands as much as I can. I am also not afraid to take anything apart to see what makes it work and even fix it if I can.

I have 3 grown kids (2 girls, 1 boy) of my own and currently have 2 step kids (1 of each) I am the proud granddad (Paw-Paw) of 5 (2 girls and 3 boys) and have another due in November that they say will be a girl. My kids and granbabies are my happiness in life and I spoil them whenever I can. I mail cookies to them all the time...lol

I have been writing product reviews for almost 9 years now and enjoy both writing them and reading others opinions and experiences. I also enjoy meeting new people through my writing and reading their works. I write in many categories but feel tools, home improvement and motorcycles are my best.

Next week I am going to Indiana to see my girls and grandbabies for 3 weeks. I will be traveling on my V Star and plan to go to Little Sturgis (annual motorcycle event) along with going to the Brickyard 400 (Nascar) I have been a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr and Dale Jr. for a very long time and look forward to Dale Jr.'s first championship (his dad Dale Sr. won 7 titles)

Love reading about all of you! Now, for me.....to quote Samuel L. Jackson in "Jurassic Park", "Hold on to your butts!" Born during Ike's (NOT Turner!!) reign as president, I came screaming into the world in a little clinic that no longer exists in Chattanooga, TN, or anywhere else, for that matter! Spent the first 19 years of my life here, went to college for a year, got married, had kids, joined the Air Force at 23, retired at 43, got divorced, moved back here, got married again, had another kid, and here I sit. Where the H-E-Double Hockey sticks did the time all go??????

After my stint in the AF, first 12 years a cop, last 8 an ophthalmic technician (go ahead. Say that 3 times really fast. Oh, and I'm already ON to the smart-aleck trick of saying "that", "that", "that". So, straighten up!! As momma used to say, "Life is like a box..." no. wait. MY momma used to say, "I was born during the day, but not yesterday!")

Took 5 months off to just goof around after the Air Force, then got work as an opthalmic tech, then a clinic manager, THEN a computer tech, THEN a retail manager. Follow that logical progression? Me neither. Story of my life, though.

I've lived in Michigan, Georgia, Arkansas, California, Guam, Germany and Maryland. Traveled through most of the 50 states and spend a year in Korea one month. Also been to England (where I first saw the movie, "E.T."), France, Germany, and East Germany/Berlin, when such a place still existed as a communist occupied area. The German folks were really nice to me. The French, not so much.

I've been told I could write all my life, but never pursued it as a career for reasons unclear to me or anyone else. When the ISP known as Prodigy existed and we connected on those speedy 9600 baud Hayes modems, I wrote country music reviews for a little Internet mag. So, here I am, some how surviving enemies and general malaise to reach my early 50s, writing, quite a bit, and loving it.

I currently work as a retail manager in a regional grocery chain, and have 3 kids, a 30 year old and 28 year old by my first marriage and a 3 year old by my most recent "hitching". It was NOT a shotgun wedding, for those of you wondering. There might have been Uzi's involved, but, I'm not sure.

I love to read a good book, play computer games (right now it's World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero III), watch movies and listen to all kinds of music. I love spending time with my little girl and making people smile in general. Oh, and we have a cat. Man, I hate that cat........

I'm Bob Kovacs, a kid at heart who somehow managed to make it into my 50s. I still don't know how that happened. I've always been fascinated with electronics and mechanical things, and have been working in the electronics/communications industry since (gulp!) 1971. In 1979, I got my first job as a television engineer, and I've been involved with television ever since. I'm currently a broadcast engineer with Sprint Nextel, working on a huge national project involving most of the country's TV stations. If all goes well, I'll work myself out of a job in Sept. 2009.

My mechanical obsession led me to cars, and I know a fair piece about what happens under the hood. I do most of my own car repair, and it's not unusual to find me doing a valve job or replacing a transmission. I'm also pretty handy around the house and will tackle almost any project, big or small. If you don't expect perfect plumbing, we'll get along fine.

Like Patty, I also found myself doing a lot of writing. In 1998, I became the editor of a trade magazine called Pro Video Review, which is why you can find me around the Internet by the name "pvreditor." Pro View Review died after seven issues, so I moved to a sister magazine called TV Technology, where I was the technology editor for five years. Since 1998, I've published more than 250 articles and had more than 1,000 photographs published in various magazines. I've had about 10 articles and 100 pictures published in magazines so far this year. In addition to writing about television, radio and electronics, I write about cars for a magazine called Excellence, which you can find on newsstands. My next article, on consoles used in the television industry, will be in the July 9, 2008, issue of TV Technology.

Also like Patty, I grew up in upstate New York, about 60 miles north of New York City. After living all over NY State (Fredonia, NYC, Westchester), I moved to Virginia to escape the high taxes. I now live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. I'm a teatotaler, have two cats, own two homes and eight guitars, and have been married (no kids) for nearly 28 years.

Patty here! (Actually Patty Therre, hahaha)

Let's see...I am from central New York and have been married for almost 25 years. I was only four when I got married. ;) I have two sons, Dan (Mr----X here), who is 22, and Chris, who will be 18 in September. I have assorted animals in and out of the house but have a dog and two cats that actually live here.

I have been writing forever. I literally started writing at age four and never stopped. I have journals, diaries, and stories written when I was as young as 10. I have been published in a variety of magazines over the years and I have been the Executive Editor/Editor in Chief of two - WCW Magazine and RollerJam Magazine.

I still research and write for a UK based wrestling magazine (PowerSlam) and I write all over the net. I love it. It's my passion. I write for work and for fun. Other hobbies? Hmm...I am into working out and getting fit, playing with makeup and skin care, and I love to shop. I have more "stuff" than anyone should and my husband is going to move out if I don't get rid of some of it. I'll miss him. Heheh. Obviously I like to joke around but I have a very serious side too. I try to be a good friend but I sometimes fail because I am so busy trying to get everything done. For that, I am sorry and I am working on organizing myself and my time to not ALWAYS be rushing around trying to finish what I started. Or didn't start at all!

In general, aside from being surrounded by my family, writing is my true passion and my true love. I hope I never have to give it up.

Hi I'm Regina. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. In 2004 I moved down to South New Jersey and became a Piney! We now live in Tuckerton. This is a very small town; only about 2 miles wide. I don't miss city life in any way!

I live with my husband and 9 year old son. We have a cat named Alley Cat adopted from a local shelter, and we have a Golden Retriever named Burger (aka Sir Quiet Piney because he doesn't bark...it's too much of an effort for him).

Life is very different down here. I love to fish and crab and go right out my back door to do so. I love to read...anything! We like to travel, but are not able to do as much as we would like. We take long weekends discovering new places on the east coast. I love the beach, my friends, family and doing things together.

Hi I'm Suzanne and I've lived my whole life in the Metro Detroit area. 26 years in one house, then got married in 2007 and moved... 5 miles down the street :-D My Favorite thing to do is travel, and I only wish I could do it more than once or twice a year. I hope to see every state of the US, but I'm only hoping to visit a few countries. Obviously I've been to Canada since it's only 30 minutes away.

In reality, since I can't travel every day, my hobbies include writing (no duh), photography, memory books, movies, spending time with friends, video games, and anything in the creative realm. I get paid (my job) to design websites and small software programs for my department to use. I work for a big company, but I'm actually not in IT and instead was hired by 1 department that needs A LOT of technological stuff.

I think that about sums it up! BTW - If you couldn't do the math above, I'm 27 now :)

I'm Carrie, been in the Lansing, MI area pretty much all my life (with a breif stint in the north for school). As you can see on my profile I'm a mom, and wife first and formost. I also work full time for the Head Start preschool program. When Im not at work I'm at the computer writing away. We have 3 separate businesses operating in our home.... me with writing, my husband with painting and a joint business.

My favorite things would be good friends, beaches, turtles, vacations (of which I don't do hardly enough), anything pasta or bread and a good movie.
