I am new to the view points site and thought that I would introduce myself.  My name is John and I currently am residing at Forward Operating Base Lagman, Qalat, Afghanistan.  I have been here for about 5 months and will be returning to my home in Lacey, WA by the end of this month (if all goes well).  Since we make less money in the military than most people usually think, it's important to make the money that I do have to spend count and make sure that I get good quality when I buy things.  That doesn't mean that I will buy the most expensive product just because you get what you pay for.  I want to make sure that what I buy has the features that I want/need and that it is for a reasonable price and I think that this site is a great place to get some of that information.  If nothing else I can see if the product that I am looking at getting is good quality or not and go from there.  I found this site as a suggestion from a few people at another site that I subscribe to and so here I am.  I have been writing reviews like crazy (right now I am working on getting 5 done so I can get the $5 Target gift card) and will keep writing when I have time.
