what pets do you have?

I'm a devout cat lover - we have 7. I have a 5-6 y.o. female calico-Samantha. I got her from a lady that had too many. She will lick you to death -such a sweetie and very loyal to me. One day this gorgeous pure black female cat came up to my hubby as he sat and ate a BK cheeseburger. She was an outside cat and we didn't know who she belonged to but she was pregnant. She (Pru) -named after one of the girls in Charmed- never left his side. She adopted us so we took her home. Soon she had 6 babies in our bedroom closet all black and white.4 boys & 2 girls. We gave a girl to some friends and then I gave a boy to neighbors. I went back a month later to check on him -he had broken ribs. I didn't know they had little kids- I took him back home and we kept them all. They're almost 3 y.o. and all have their own personalities. They're a handful but we love them all. One of the boys weighs 17 pounds - boy can he eat!!!

I have had plenty of pets but now I just have a cat that the kids in the other side of the house named catcat he spends more time with them but thats good for the kids anyway . And Patty you just go for it and you will always be a better person for that.

I have one pet. A mini puddle and her name is Penny. She is 2 years old. She is brown and loves to play fetch and sleep. She is the cutest and the friendliest dog you'll ever lay eyes on!

I have a black and white shih tzu named Dinky Doodle, a schnauzer named Tequela Rose and an English Setter named Simmba. Two cats, Cosby and Snafu. Our pets are babies, spoiled rotten. When you have pets you can count on entertainment.

Our 8 yr. old pug was purchased through a breeder from OK. He's got his official papers, so we know it's the real deal. His father's name was "Fat Bozo" and his mother's name was "Princess." Makes me laugh when I think about it!

We'd love to adopt a rescue pug to give Junior a brother, but we haven't found the time to truly search.

We have two chihuahuas and three short haired cats. The two dogs are six and three years old and the cats are three, two, and almost six months. They have all been rescued animals.

I will, let her know the Kind words to her. She is taking it very hard. She had me in tears. Nancy was trying so hard with Annie, like a lot of us pet owners do. They are our family. We did laugh about the Cupcake, she figured Annie would nibble it in pieces, and when she told me she inhaled it. I started laughing, and so did Nancy. I hope I helped in some way, but only time heals the wounds. It gets easier, but still hurts. She'll be back in her time, she is thinking about getting a doggie around 1 to 2 yrs old. For Josie (?) to have a playmate. I will let her know we miss her here on Viewpoints. Thanks everyone, she does appreciate the thoughts.

Losing a pet is really losing famly. We all got to know Annie and her love of life. Nancy ALWAYS mentioned Annie in our comments back and forth. Very sorry to hear this and have been thinking how I've missed Nancy on the boards recently. My sincerest wishes for her. Thanks for posting, Darlyn. Let her know we miss her when you talk by phone next.

I am sorry to let everyone know her Doggie Annie passed. The funny thing about it is she got to enjoy a Chocolate Cupcake (which we dog lover's know is a no~no). Annie inhaled it in one try, then had to be put down. Annie was up there in age, and this is no easy time who has had a pet for many years. I know, so I am putting my "A Dog's Plea" back up in respect for Annie. As Nancy44 has printed and framed. You do find comfort in it. I know it helped us with Maxine, and will do the same for Nancy44......Love you friend...I am thinking of you! Big Hugs and Kisses! Come back when you are ready, I know you've been devoting your time to her.

Jumping Dogs

I have 3 shihtzus :-) my little furbaby's. Our children my husband and I adore :-) Wilson-5 yrs.~15 pounds~, Emmie-4 yrs.~10 pounds~ Toby-5 yrs. ~15 pounds~The boys are tri- color and little emmie is black /chocolate. My husband and I have a ball with these little ones. We love animals :-) and we protect them. They protect us. I think it's wonderful on how you all came about your recieving your little furdolls :-) and your other pets.

Hello fellow Viewpointers! Happy Holidays to everyone! My Taboo is a grey and brown tiger patterned kitty with white hands n feet! She came to me from a neighbor whos cat seemed to be having a litter every 4 to 6 months. So I decided to claim one of a litter that came in early March 1997. I say 'claimed' because I did not 'choose' her. I had never been in the neighbors apt, really only knew them on a 'hi and bye, maybe brief convo' basis. Long story short, 3 weeks later they brought me the runt of the litter and said the Mother was not letting her nurse. I had requested a male kitten, thinking in terms of easier and cheaper 'fixing', so we all just assumed it was a boy. It wasn't until she was a few months old that I knew. Shes been with me ever since, almost 13yrs!

Does anyone else have a crazy pomeranian???

Hahaha ya we took him to the vet but they just said thats how he is. I heard alot of poms are like that. i thnk my ex everyday for this wonderful dog... ahaha just kidding i love my baby :)

Ya sometimes i take hi on walks but we had an incodent where a pittbul came after us when i was walking him one day and im afraid to take him out again. But he always running around the house and jumping off things but im going to find a place to take to walk and hopefully that would help... Thank you :)
