Help me!! I've really put alot of work and creativity into woodburning some really fun pictures for my girls and family members and my husband thinks that the items i've made are good enough to try and sell. I don't know if their really good enough or not but it might be fun to try, but where do i start? I live in a small town so the options are few and i don't think a picture on ebay will show enough detail for someone to take an interest so how can i get my pictures out there?

I would like to know this as well!  I enjoy a lot of crafts and if there was an easy to use website where i could post them, I'd try it :)

I'll be looking here for answers!  i bet there is a non-ebay site for stuff like this, I just don't know where.

Try Etsy.com

 It's the eBay for handmade, although that's not their 'motto' ~ they started in the Summer of 2005.

I've met a lot of artisans and crafts people over at Twitter who use etsy.com and seem to be very happy with it.

i have heard great stuff about etsy too. . . never used it myself but go ask cmohr she does.

I was there for about a year on Etsy...but my shows were busy here, I prefer doing the in-person shows and have since 1999.  It's a great site to sell handmade if you like to monitor an online store.

Etsy really has grown by leaps & bounds.  Started by 4 *geeky* guys in an apartment.  It's really a phenomenal story.  Here are a couple of many links about Etsy out there:
