To update a review first click on the review. Under the product name look on the right side for a small icon that say 'Edit' the review. Click on that, make all your changes, then re-submit. Good luck!

I think krislynn is right... A lot of people read and may forget to vote. Our community, like many others, is a lot like karma. The more good stuff you put out there, the more you get back in return. When you increase the frequency of friending, reading, commenting and voting then those actions tend to come back for you more often. In the meantime, we can explore ways to highlight the voting buttons on future re-design projects down the road.

My two top reviews have switched places with Silpada Designs Fine Sterling Silver Jewelry in front of my Kingdown mattress but they're neck and neck:)

I MUST SAY that I too do not get helpful votes and it is discouraging. When I look at a review that I think people would want to read and see that there isn't one vote I wonder what is wrong. Then there are the reviews with great comments from 6 people and two votes. How can we make this friendlier to vote? Jo

I love your helpful votes and comments! I give helpfuls for almost every review I read. I would not give a helpful on something that is rude, mean, or inconsiderate--I'd probably click on "inappropriate" instead and click on no. Some of my reviews with the most hits actually have the fewest number of helpful votes. This may just indicate that more people from outside of Viewpoints are reading the review. I think Viewpoints reviewers are more likely to click on "yes" than someone who is searching through lots of reviews before making a purchase.

I think sometimes the thumb-downers are more crucial than the good news ones. After all, if everything is going okay, no warning is necessary but sometimes there are things we should know about beforehand. Of course, the good news ones are interesting too, don't get me wrong!

My most popular review (on a light truck tire) now has a bit more than 2,500 hits. My next closest is at about 1,950 (on a car tire) and then 1,825 (on laminated flooring). What's really interesting is that my review of Wal-Mart's synthetic motor oil has received 636 hits in six weeks. This is for a $3.10 bottle of oil!

Ironically, in the 12-month stats, my second-best is my review of "the other site."

Yeah, that number is from April when they started tracking hits. My second review is about half that many hits and it goes down pretty quickly from there as far as hits go. I really don't get the whole FitFlop thing. There are something like 28 other reviews of the shoes here and I am sure there are better reviews out there. I didn't put much effort into that review, I have to admit.

My second most popular review is of the Easy Curves Bar and that is the one with 57 HVs and a whole forum of comments from people discussing the product. It's really actually fun to see so many people on one of my reviews who signed up just to discuss this little gadget. I love when stuff like that happens.

I never reviewed either of those products anywhere else. It would be interesting to compare how they performed elsewhere but they aren't in the database and I'm too lazy to request them. Plus I like to try to write unique things on each site I write for although that obviously isn't possible all the time. I only own so much. SO MUCH! lol.

Well, I've only been writing here for about a week, so I'm shocked that anybody has read any of mine. Well, except for maybe my sister. Of course I haven't had a huge number of reads on any of mine, but the highest ones I have are a camera and a stroller. I'm wondering if the camera one got a lot of hits because I had a picture of my daughter with her hair sticking straight up. Electronics and baby items are probably pretty expected for high numbers of hits, but thought y'all might humor me and read this anyway.

As the weather gets warmer, I am seeing reviews of things like cellulite products (that don't work), self tanners, summer sandals, fans, and even certain websites that sell clothing moving up. Mattresses must get a motherload of hits because my cheap mattress foam topper is #7 on my list with a lot of reads. I love the stats. It's fun to see what people are reading and perplexing at times. Like discontinued Hanes Tights are up there. WHY? I don't even think they are selling anymore. But I'm happy as long as people are reading anything of mine!

There are at least three of us with lots of hits for mattress reviews. I'm guessing that, since mattresses are so very expensive these days, people do a lot of research before buying one. I know I got lots of messages from people saying that they had no idea haggling was even an option at a mattress store.

The stats are programmed to update automatically. Thank goodness it's not manual!! That would be painful :) Thanks for the compliments, AnnaBanana... our entire tech team set up the stats capability while Vytas (the bringer of the pretty) made them look really nice & user-friendly.

I have gone over 1000 reads on FitFlops as of today. (1021). That's crazy! I have not reviewed them anywhere else and I think that maybe reviews of these exercise shoes/flip flops are hard to come by. Or someone has linked me. The reads are going up like crazy day by day. Of all things... lol. T'is the season though and they are back in stock. They were sold out pretty much all last summer.

I think, Mike, HDTV reviews will be top 10 material at least till Feb. 2009, so that's pretty much a sure thing as far as hits go. New movies, especially big summer movies, are also good for stats.

I think Cyndi raises an interesting point... these lists will be driven by seasonality. Peoples patterns change daily. ;) Also, it is often the obscure products that come to the top- like Peppermint Soap because nobody else on the web has them. The stats only go back to April 24th... so we have no idea what's really out most popular review....but in terms of what has been opened and looked at the most since April 24th.

I'm delighted to see that several of the poems under Misc. that I put onto this site get looked at by people somewhere out in internet land.

Top hits for me since April 24th is . . . Best Romantic Comedy Films only 8 helpful votes but 163 look and sees.

Okay, guys -- I'm back! There was the "Stats" button all along and undoubtedly where Jolie probably told me it would be! Anyhoo, my most popular review was -- believe it or not -- Amy's Cheese Pizza! No less than 129 people checked that one out! Second most popular was my review of "The Great Train Robbery" with 108 looks (including at least one from George Chabot, who hated that movie! HAHA!) This website is so much fun, honestly I'm having a really great time here. Have a nice day everyone. I'm going to bed where most people are by now.

So far my most popular has been on a cat litter, but I expect that to change after the stats have been calculating hits for a few weeks. Then I fully expect some of my other reviews to rise to the top.

Mine is for FitFlops - "revolutionary" flip flops that work your leg muscles as you walk. Hot on its heels though is the 100 Ways Vics's Secret Bra! LOL. My top 10 is changing as days go by but those two review remain fixed at 1 and 2.

I'm a little surprised to see that my most popular review is for a light truck tire. I wrote the review several months ago but it is my most popular review by a healthy margin, exceeding even some electronic items that I thought would be really hot. In two weeks, that tire review has gotten 220 hits, and another tire review is in my top 10.
