Ok so I finally went to the store to check out cameras. Everyone says Canon. 9 out of 10 of the people I ask HAVE a Canon. Everyone LOVES Canon. Well, at the store I didn't really care for half of the canon's I looked at.
Then I found a Sony and LOVED it when I was playing with it. I loved the options, the settings, etc etc. Then my husbands friend that works there came over and said NNOOOO Don't by sony! I asked "why why why" and all he said was "they suck", so I asked "why why why" again and he said they just take bad pictures. Now what does he consider a bad picture? My current camera is 6MP and I think it takes good pics, so I'm sure the Sony isn't all that bad.
So what do you do when all the signs point to one product/brand but you really feel an instinct for something else? Oh and did I mention that with this special discount offer my husband has the Sony will only cost us around 149$??? Which is about 100$ then any of the Canons I sort of liked.
Arg, so I'm still shopping. Would hate to buy this Sony and everyone be right, but would hate to by one of these Canons and not like it.
