They finally made it downtown and had theirselves a much needed drink.

One had a latte and the other had an iced tea.

They had their drinks and went back home.

You'll never guess what they found at home!

They found the man with the axe, flashlight and buckteeth sitting on their doorstep.

but this time he had a friend with him

Then one of the dogs said, "Ahh, winds from the East.  Why, it's Mary Poppins and she has an umbrella.  Let's run to her and I'm sure she'll keep us dry."

So the dogs began to run toward Mary Poppins but just as they thought they were going to reach her....

they slid through a puddle landing in a pile of leaves. Well what do you know = it wasn't Mary Poppins after all. It was LadyMagic,whose costume was sometimes similar to Mary Poppins. She had been performing at a festival and the wind had swept her right out of the park. Just as she was about to land the wind blew even stronger blowing the umbrella out of her hands and taking LadyMagic in yet another direction. What a day!

The umbrella landed a few feet away from the dogs and ............

The Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz with a poor sense of direction ("Which way do I go?  This way?  No, that way?  Perhaps both ways?") stumbles over the umbrella and falls off of the Yellow Brick Road.  Being in need of a brain and perhaps a good GPS he gets lost in the woods.  While wandering aimlessly he meets up with....and they promise to...

While wandering aimlessly he meets up with Fardreamer and GigiandAdonai and they promise to help him.(and boy does he need the help!!!). They will also bring the dogs because they are great trackers and will help keep them on the right trail.  GigiandAdonai will wear her amazing ballet slippers that enable her to walk miles tirelessly. Fardreamer will bring his ........

MRSverret has joined the little band of travelers. Will they find help for the Scarecrow? Will they find where LadyMagic may have crash landed? Will they find something to wash down the nutella with? The dogs lead away sniffing a trail of goodness knows what. The dogs start barking excitedly. The group stops.Uh-oh, one dog wants to go through the dimly lit dense woods on the left and the other dog wants to lead them through the tall grass on the right. The grass towers over them all. They can't go straight because they will fall off a cliff. Which way do they go? They..........

choose to go through the dimly lit dense woods. As the group started down the trail they started hearing a strange sound. The noise grew louder and louder. Then a bright light filled the sky. They all looked at each other in shock. What was that?.....

It was the cowardly lion.  Now come on!  Everyone knows that he should not be in the forests by himself.  He says he was looking for Toto.  Dang that mischievious dog!  What now?  Are we off to see the Wizard? 

Gigi says that we must get back on the Yellow Brick Road but first we must find LadyMagic's spaceship.  Scarecrow might not be too dumb after all.  He suggests that in order to do that we must... 

find the One Ring and rid Middle Earth of its evil...but where is Gandalf the Grey?

Duck! they screamed, as they were suddenly surrounded by flying monkeys. That could only mean one thing...

...then the dog turned and looked at the people who were imagining him, writing things for him and said in a perfectly clear voice;  you folks are daft.  I mean really, you can't come up with anything more original than to bring in Wizard of Oz characters and pretend they never got their hearts' desires in the Emerald City?  Flying monkeys,now?  They gave little kids the creeps... And how about that guy who wrote -30- trying to control the ending of my story, my life, and everyone's participating.  -30- the old newspaper term for Finish or The End that a lot of people may not even know.  Oh and that all that silliness about bringing in various posters into MY story... you can't control your egos enough to prevent yourself from barging in on my story?  And then this final straw... some Johnny-come-lately holier than thou party crasher putting words in my mouth.   Dogs can't talk and I'm not going to say another word again as long as I live.  (I hope you won the bet at the bar).

so after that they banished the dog for talking such crazy nonsense.

Hmm...me thinks the story has ended if the key character (the dog) has been banished. So, we are moving onto another scenario.

Once upon a time there was a corporate executive who reigned from an ivory tower. She wasn't your typical CEO.  Not only did she have power but she was more gracious than most.  Her heart was pure as gold.  She had everything money could buy or so her colleagues thought so.  However, she really wanted...

to find out if the guy she met with the talking dog was for real or not.  She met him while waiting to retrieve her car after the business presentation she gave.  She was worried about how accurate the revenue figures she spoke about truly were and why she didn't take the time to make sure her staff had done their job correctly.  Then her mind still on business she felt the eyes of a handsome man on her, turned and saw him.  She laughed when he made it seem like his dog could talk.  "What's a nice looking CEO like you doing in a place like this?"

The lady was taken by surprise.  Was she really in a parking lot and was the dog really talking.  She was holding a bottle of Aquafina and sprinkled a few drops on her face.  She thought this had to be a dream or she was hallucinating.  Dogs can't really talk, can they?  Once she was aware that she was indeed awake and this was not a dream she got a little nervous. 

She began to ponder the motives of the man who was controlling the dog.  Was he doing this to scare or was he doing this because he was really interested in her but didn't know how to tell her?  As she was turning around to speak to him he...

commented on what a lovely day it was and suggested they all go to a park to enjoy the fresh, fall breeze.  It was just a few blocks away from where they were and the pups loved playing around the fountain with the other dogs in the park.  The lady remembered that she hadn't eaten anything all day and suggested they get a sandwich on the way,

The man realized that he & the pups were hungry too and that there was a gourmet puppy store right next to the sandwich shop she had suggested.  When the pups heard they were going by a shop just for them...

The dogs took off in the direction of the store.  The nice lady having a fear of dogs was very reluctant to follow the gentleman.  She expressed her fear of dogs and being around other dogs and asked if she could have a raincheck on lunch.

Being the gentleman that he was he...

stood still, thinking, "No, don't even think about it" but it was too late. The dog lifted its hind leg and let it rip onto his foot. :P And if that wasn't enough, the dog broke major wind in front of the gentleman.

He turned to the lady and said, "My lady, I believe your dog has had steak for dinner." :P

She was horrified!

The dog could not have had steak. He had been a vegetarian ever since...

She looked at the dog and the dog looked away ashamed.

Along came a gray cat which was approaching the dog, but stopped at once to........
