Reviewer 11 I HATE when they interrupt TV for stupid things.  Here are acceptable reasons to interrupt:

• a kid was kidnapped
• a storm is about to tear the roof off my house
• a terrorist attack

Seriously I hate when they interrupt every 5 minutes for a "winter storm".  I live in MI, I've been through a million winter storms.  Don't interrupt to tell me it's snowing, interrupt if it's reallllllly dangerous, like deadly.

Otherwise, why not just flash on the bottom of the screen the news and let me watch my show?? 

Jo, now i get why my mom DVRs the news a lot - so she can fast forward to the good stuff!  However, sometimes it's hard b/c you can't tell what they are on so you have to keep pressing play to make sure you don't miss anything.

I actually wrote an article in college called "Infotainment" or soemthing like that.  I gotta find that :)  I had done some research on how the news is trying more and more to entertain and less and less to inform.
