I have like three pairs of high-heeled shoes that I have a hard time walking in because the bottoms are so smooth it looks like I have never worn heels before. My dad says if you scratch the bottoms with sandpaper it will give you traction. I tried it with a very coarse grain sandpaper and the bottoms wouldn't scratch... :(

Do you know a certain sandpaper or have your own trick for getting traction on the bottom of smooth shoes? The coolest ones are the most slippery!

If you have clothes moths, cedar balls, chips, oils will not help. Mothballs kill moths not larvae or eggs and stink and harmful to you and pets. Get yourself some phermone traps ( they are expensive, like $20 each---i like insects limted) to catch the males, Try to find the source of the infestation. If you have one, you have MANY. This problem gets worse fast. You must dry clean/ wash all of your clothes, and keep them in plastic sealed comtainers. This is expensive and time consuming but necessary. We have had a problem since June and thinking it wasnt a bug dea lnitially, we washed things but did not seal and as a result lost many clothes and have now spent about 1500 in dry cleaning, laundry, space saver bags and boxes and now 2 exterminator visits. These creatures are pervasive.Example-- we have caught hundreds over the last 4 months. If they can not find clothes, they will lay eggs in the floorboards and then the larvae crawl to a fabric food source-- they are not picky, they prefer wool but i have lost many cotton and CLEAN items. I would never wish this on anyone -- we are finally moving b/c we can't take it anyore and have been without curtains and rugs and living out of plastic bags for months. Yes, they were in the curtains too. If you have an animal its worse, they feed off of the animal hair and lint-- you must vacuum diligently -- and throw out the bag EACH time. Did I mention this is expensive? It is mind blowingly wasteful and tedious. But also necessary. I pray you dont have carpets--if you do- rip them up. Read as much as you can about it and find out if your landlord will pay for extermination. I know this all sounds drastic, but you will eventually be here. May as well be when the problem is small and manageable.

Good luck, you will need it. I am hoping my move solves the problem, finally. B/c if i see a moth in the new place, I may be headed for a stint in a psych hospital.

I buy almost all my shoes from Zappos .com . It's great because you can search by size/color and then only look at styles available in what you want. Once in a while I get a pair that is too tight/uncomfortable, and I send them back at no additional charge.

Although it's been a while since I've done much ordering online, I've had pretty positive experiences with it. I used to order through Amazon when I was getting certs for being part of a forum. It works alright as long as you understand how Amazon works being a "universal shopping cart." This means you could pay a lot in shipping if you don't try to coordinate your purchases.

I wouldn't say "turn me on," but I prefer boxers than briefs! I think it's a generational thing. My dad wore briefs. I never want to imagine him in briefs again! Because of this little memory, I like hubby in boxers!

B.No! I have 2 sons that are in the hiphop era and I like hiphop myself and some of their friend are all about showing the butt but I dont allow my kids to do it because no one wants to go around looking at some ones butt all the time,how many people do you see working for companies with their pants down and the third reason is because if we had a house fire you would never make it out alive because your pants are already half way down around your ankles.ha,ha,ha

I order clotes online all the time.I pretty much know my size but you can run into things not being just right so I only order from a few select places.I like to do it and can find god deals and stuff that no one in my area has so thats the neat part.I am short so when it comes to jeans I usually have to have them taken to a seamstress and my aunt was one for years so I let her do all the handy work and she is good too.Just ask her how many jeans that I have brought her.

I am really top heavy and I am not really big weight wise but I am no size 1 eaither.My biggest challenge is finding shirts to because I a have always been big busted so not only are shirts hard to find but good bras are too.i shop at Catherines,Fashin Bug and different places.Sometimes you have to have someone measure you to find the perfect pants,shirts,dresses,skirts and bras.I was also told that I needed breats reduction surjery but I keloid so bad that I am afraid to do it so I dont know but i have had alot of back and neck problems too. good luck.

I love Bali bras! They give you great support if you are a full figure gal. Yes they are expensive [ can cost anywhere between $18-25 each] but the fit and comfort is well worth the price!
