Alright, alright. You think I'm sucking up to Sears' Craftsman tools, don'cha'? Well, listen up DIY babies. I've lived with my female family on a large piece of land for over thirty years and we've had to do much of the repairs (learning as we went) ourselves.
I bought a set of Craftsman pruning tools way back in the 1980's. We used those tools for at least fifteen years and believe me, they lasted. When, at long last, they gave out, I decided to try a cheaper set.
Big mistake. Not only did the cheap tools not maintain their sharpness, they also fell apart. Thinking I'd bought a faulty set, I bought another. Same results.
Out of frustration and desperation, I bought another set of Craftsman. The same great results appeared and I realized that it was unbelievably cheaper to buy ONE set of Craftsman than to keep buying cheaper tools.
I recommend Sears' Craftsman brand tools to anyone needing reliable products of this type!
