this is by far the best peruvian chicken place in DC/MD. I go here all the time from a recommendation from an ex- (who I hate, but I love the chicken). the herbs they use are out-of-this world and the yuca is the best. the yuca's crispy, tasty, and works very well with both the mayo-based and green chili dippings. the chicken is tender, juicy, and amazingly well seasoned. I've tried a number of other peruvian places in the area, and while I like them all, chicken on the run is the best.

for about only $6-7 you get half a chicken and two sides. yuca, plantains, salad, rice & beans are among them (in the order of my favorites). yummy stuff.
atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall, but clean. only a few small tables but i've never seen it so busy that you can't find a seat.

the food is wonderful stuff and I highly recommend it!!!
