Love Them

I have been wanting to use cloth diapers ever since my daughter was born. The problem was trying to find the right ones, since there are so many. I did a lot of research based on price, as well, as quality and finally decided to try the bumGenius Flip Diaper system.I am so happy with my choice. I am so pleasantly pleased with how this diaper system works. Not only do I not waste diapers like in the pocket kind, but they are very easy to wash and reuse.Furthermore, for the quality of the diaper system, the price is unbeatable. I have not had any issues with leakage and when I run out of the inserts that come with the diapers, I can just use the regular prefold diapers. My only one complaint is that single diaper packs only come with one insert.

The Flip is easy to use, easy to clean, and cost-effective.

My husband and I bought the Flip because we really wanted to cloth diaper to save money and because it seemed healthier for our little boy.  I chose the Flip because it was easy and I didn't have to change the cover every time I changed my child's diaper.  The only downside I've found to this diaper is that the inserts become a bit smelly after a while and need to be replaced, but since this cloth diaper is much cheaper than others we've found, that's not too bad.  The other upside to this diaper is that it is all-in-one, so I don't have to continue to buy covers as my child grows.  Overall, I recommend it.

Excellent starter for cloth diapering

BG Flips are a great starter stash. The inserts/soakers in the stay dry day pack are excellent to use in the Flip cover OR for use INSIDE other pocket diapers like the BG OS. they are AMAZING for overnight. All you need are 2 Flip inserts and 1 Flip cover and you will get 10-12 hours of leak free diaper wearing overnight! The ONLY reason this product doesn't get all 5 stars would the the fact the inserts tend to shift a bit and poops can be quite messy in this diaper. I have never had a leak but I have also never been able to continue using a cover one the little one goes poop.

We Love Our Flip Diapers

4

We were given some all in one cloth diapers for a baby shower gift and were not able to use them because our son was too big for new born diapers at birth. We were excited to try them but they leaked all over so we stuck with using disposables until I found these. It was the best alternative to using disposables and we didn't have to pay very much to be able to diaper our son. I bought a few different colors of cover so I have a total of 8 covers. I also have 24 stay dry inserts. As far as cost they have been about paid off now. I love them. For the first couple months we only cloth diapered part time. Now we cloth diaper full time and love it. I can't stand putting our little one in a disposable I hate the little gel pieces that I just can't wipe off of him they stick like glue. Also when using disposables our sons bum is never dry. When we use cloth even though the insert is soaked his skin is usually pretty dry or drys quick during the change. He does still get little rashes from time to time but they clear up with a little coconut oil, its cloth diaper safe and washes out clean in the laundry. He does not get near as much redness or rashes as he did in disposables. The covers are ok but there are a few things I would change like maybe have a second leg gusset or something to help keep wetness from seeping out as that happens if his clothes are close enough to wick moisture from the diaper. As our son has gotten more mobile the insert bunches a little more but it doesn't seem to affect anything I just worry about the microfiber getting directly on his skin. I think they are good for the money.

Can't get much better than Flip diapers

5

These diapers are super thin and super easy to use! We use them with normal Gerber prefolds, Flip stay-dry inserts, and gDiapers flushable inserts. I've found that the Flip disposable inserts do not cover enough space in the diaper so there's more leaking into the cover than with other inserts. I have a chunky little guy (30lbs at 12mo) and was sick of having to spend so much on so few disposable diapers in his size. These fit wonderfully around his thighs and we've never had a pinching problem. I love how great they are in terms of adjusting. Face it, we all have our "fat days." So do babies! There are days when I have to adjust these tighter than the day before; sometimes looser. And they never lose the fit that I love on them.   I will definitely be keeping these for any other babies in our future!

Great cloth diaper for average babies

5

I love that bumGenius Flip are as easy as pocket diapers, and stay dry, but with alot less laundry and pocket stuffing! I never could get the hang of a snappi or pinning, all-in-one diapers are too expensive, and pockets are just a pain to stuff but the only other option I really thought I had until CottonBabies came out with the Flip. The one size is similar to that of any other one size diaper, it depends on the shape and build of the child, not so much the weight ranges from my experience. Snapping down the rise is simple enough to do, and don't come unsnapped easy like some one size cloth diapers I have tried. I have 2 girls with VERY chunky thighs and then an average size boy. The girls can't wear Flips anymore because the thighs are too tight, but they fit my son great. I did have a problem with the insert bunching once they all were mobile, but I never once had a leak in either form. Overall I love these diapers, but I wish they would add a snap at the front and back.

Nice System!

The flip system is a good one! I have tried many different covers and found that flip fits my toddler the best. We love thirsties as well, but the flip seemed to be a trimmer option for my very petite little girl! The stretchy tabs make it fit comfortably. The material is very light weight and stretchy unlike many other covers that can be quite stiff. I like the 2 rows of adjustable snaps so that if you need the leg gussets tighter but the belly looser, you can do that. I don't have experience with the stay dry inner as we use flats with ours. You can use these covers over fitteds or prefolds as well. We haven't had any leaks with our Flip covers. The colors options are nice and very vibrant, although a few prints would be cute too! These are a great option for those who want to try cloth diapering but want to have a cheaper option. They are great fitting under clothing and just all around very comfortable for little ones! In fact I just ordered some more of these covers and they should be arriving today!
