Having great drinking water is a great thing to have, and the BRITA company works hard to provide people with the ability to do it themselves. At work we have one of the BRITA Classic Pitchers, which allows us to keep a lot of tasty water on hand at all times. The added benefit, is that the water is filtered, and tastes much better than if it were coming straight out of the faucet. This change in appearance as well as flavor is due to the filtration system that is a part of the BRITA Pitcher, and is so easy to use that anyone in the office can fill and refill the drinking source. It was purchased...

If your tap water tastes a bit off, the Brita pitcher will make it taste good.

The only real drawback is the slow rate the pitcher filters the water.  It goes at a rather slow pace.  Comparable to a dripping faucet, rather than a faucet flowing when fully opened.  If you need a lot of filtered water in a hurry, this is not the product for you.

I purchased a Brita Pitcher (5-cup capacity) at the beginning of April.  Taking advantage of Earth Day sales and a really good coupon, I only paid about $3 for my pitcher.  I would not have paid the asking price at our local Wal-Mart.

I bought this Brita Pitcher for 3 reasons: 1.  I could get it at a good price; 2.  I've heard having a full refrigerator is more efficient and what better way to fill it up than with water; and 3.  I really don't like the taste of our local water, but a faucet-mount filtration system will not fit on our new faucet.

It took longer to set up the Pitcher than...

my husband and i bought our brita pitcher b/c of the chlorine taste that became overwhelming in our water. it tasted and SMELLED like we were drinking pool water! the brita cleans all of that out of the water and gives fresh and clean-smelling water in return. the only negative about this pitcher is the lid can tend to let the unfiltered water spill out if you've just filled it. i would say it would need a snap-on lid or something of the sort. otherwise, a great product for your money!

My family has used the Brita water pitcher Slim line for the past 4 months .This pitcher is well worth the money . Living in the south you don't know just how good the water is coming out of your faucet at any given time . the filters come in 3 or 4 filter in a box that is the replacement for the one that comes with it. So we use the brita water pitcher an just love the tasted of the water . I'm thinking its better than Bottled water

I have used it for 11 yesrs so far.  other of my relatives used it for 10 years, too.  None of us found any flaws with it.

The only disadvantage is the filters' prices increase these years, especially during the last months.  It could be sold at $6.99 for 3 filters.  But now, you can hardly get it below $12.99 for 3 (occasionally you get promotion offer at $9.99 for 3 filters).

Taste is authentic.  I found nothing unusual.

I highley recommend the Brita water pitcher. It is easy and convient to use. You simply fill the pitcher from the facet and allow to filter into the pitcher. One small item that I have encountered, is that sometimes when filling the pitcher, small particals of charcoal appear in the top well. No charcoal particals were seen after filtering. I love my Brita water pitcher.

The Brita Pitcher produces great tasting water.  It is easy to use. both to fill and to pour..  I found the filter changing to be quick and easy.  The style is sleek and takes up minimal room in the refrigerator.  It also saves money as you don't have to buy bottled water to use in the home.  Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who likes filtered water at a good savings.

I like to have cold water waiting for me, since it is usually my beverage of choice, but often worry about the condition of the water that comes out of my tap.  The Brita pitcher is a great way to keep cold water on hand, that is pre filtered, for a great clean taste!  It is easy to use, does not take up much space, and I love the convenience!

I always use a Brita Pitcher for my water at home.  It is very convenient and it tastes great too.  It is a little on the expensive side though.

The Brita pitcher is great for college dorm rooms because it fits in a mini fridge and works instead of a built-in filter.
