First  off i have to say that i love  this car seat.  This is one of the number one rated infant  car seats.  It can hold up to 30  pounds and  hieghts  up to 30 inches.  It has an easy  one hand harness adjustment  and push button release.  It has 4-position push-button height adjustable base with level  indicator for proper installation. It's height adjustable and  easy to change with no harness  rethreading.  It is  a one - hand easy -access seat release with a smooth carrying handle that   won't scratch your arm . It has energy-absorbing  foam for superior side impact  head  protection that is very soft and  comfortable . The car seat it self only weighs  about ten  pounds and the base weighs about 6  pounds so it  doesn't weigh t hat much.  And one other great thing is that  all baby  trend car seats will fit on the  base same base.  They have many different colors to  choose from that are for girls or boys. it has a washable cover on it so if anything gets spilled you can just wash  it.
