I own a Ativa Wireless Rtr & it worked only for a year & then it just stopped getting the internet connection from my Comcast cable modem. I called the free tech support ( very good, but it is in India, so it was hard to communicate at times) , but got no where. I called Comcast support (still in the US, better communication) , but still, no solution. This modem is cheap , but not worth the head ache. I still wonder how they offer free tech support with such a cheap device. They may service 100 other companies too. Oh well.
