I have narcolepsy and am on Adderal

health conscious, an animal lover, a pet owner, not rich, practical

Keeps me awake for days, Increases blood pressure

Hi, I have narcolepsy, and am on a "baby" dose of adderal and then at times I take a "baby" dose of provigil, both of which are to keep me awake, I switch because I am in a pulmonary rehab program and the exercise increases my blood pressure worse than when I come in if I take the adderal for it increases it period. I take just 2.5 mg. of adderal and 50 mg of provigil, only one pill or the other, and both keep me awake for 36 hours or more, then I crash and sleep for about the same amount of time. Not very good.
So, for some people like me, be careful about the meds you take, at dr. recommended doses it can be harmful.
