Acer - P201W —
This monitor leans precipitously forward and there is NO WAY to tilt it. Currently there is NO manual included with the product NOR is their one available online from Acer.com. I have the monitor legs being held up in front by tuna cans so I can SEE the screen! I don't recommend this product unless you are 3 feet tall and need to actually have the monitor screen tilt downward toward you!

I did get a CD! Never thought to look at it! I did re-adjust the resolution and it does look better. Hopefully the CD has a manual - Thanks so VERY much for all your help! I really appreciate it. If I have any further problems, I'll let ya know!!

The post in back of the monitor has a spring mechanism in it that holds it in place. If that spring is broken it may not stay in the position that you want it in. You should detach the monitor from base and check on the spring just in case. If the spring is broken take it back for a replacement.

Make sure the monitor is connected to the base correctly. The little square button on the post should click into the square hole on the base. It doesn't tilt a lot, but the one that I bought from Walmart last night tilts up and down enough to get a nice picture. Mine came with 2 booklets: a quick start guide (which is the manual I was referring to) and some information on the warrenty. The CD also has the manual on it. If you didn't get these you may want to take it back to the store where you bought it from and get a replacement. As far as the problem of it having tiny text, you can easily adjust the resolution by right clicking on the desktop (assuming you have Windows) and going to Properties. Click the settings tab at the top and reduce the screen resolution. I have mine set to 1280 by 800 which is pretty easy on my eyes.

Great! Can you tell me how to tilt it? I've contacted Acer multiple times and they do not reply. Have tried to send them messages from different email addresses to see if one wasn't getting thru, but I have as of yet to hear from them. This is NO manual available on their site, they have some manuals, but not this model! Would appreciate your help!
