This was the worst piece of software I've ever seen. It is worse than useless. It can and probably will screw up your whole system. I bought System Mechanic 7 Professional from Staples (they would NOT take it back--avoid Staples) and installed it. From that point forward I couldn't access the internet anymore. I later found out this is only one of many problems that SM7 can and does cause, and uninstalling SM7 will not necessarily clear up these problems. It leaves behind a type of spyware that's no good.
