     I fell in love from the first page until the last.  it is about people who live besides us, and yet we do not know their true nature. the prince of the Carpathians is thinking about leaving this world, as he is tired of it.  when a voice ask if he is lonely as she is. this begins the story. Then you have the drama of them as they get to know each other and yet help a race that is almost exstince.  The flow of all the books that follow are just as good.
