I was very skeptical, because I've tried Alka Seltzer (for upset stomach) before, and it was so nasty I swore I'll never drink it again. I suffer from sinus and throat infections come and go as they please. When my throat started to itch and feel uncomfortable one of my co-workers gave me a package of Alka Seltzer Cold & Cough "Citrus flavor" and told me to drink it now, and go buy me some more and keep on drinking it.  Even though I've heard it takes around 20 mins. to feel better, I didn't really feel better right away.
