Most people have seen Loveland as they have driven past the Eisenhower tunnel, but few stop to ski. Even on Thanksgiving weekend when very few hills are open this one doesn't have lift lines. The lift tickets are much cheaper than surrounding areas and it opens earlier than most hills because of it's location on the continental divide. The people are incredibly nice and they almost always have some sort of entertainment or a giveaway at the base. There is no village at the base, so you must stay somewhere else and drive or take the bus in - no option of ski in/out. They are continually trying to...
