This Uniden phone system is adequate for my 1900 square foot home.  The sound gets staticky when I try to use a handset down in my basement, and that is really about the only drawback.  It came with an answering machine, and two handsets taht plug into outlets, no phone jack required for the handsets, other than the one with the answering machine.  It has a choice of two ringtones, with two volumes per ringtone.  The handset volume can be set to low, medium, high, or maximum.  It will store up to 30 caller IDs, so I can look to see who has hung up without leaving a message.  It will also...
