Even with Li and Chan it still sucks

into action flicks, a comedy fan

I've watched every Jackie Chan movie and almost every Jet Li movie. The most startling thing about this movie was seeing Jet Li portraying the Monkey King, or whatever he was. First time I've ever seen Li be so giddy and smiley. Nice bit of acting. Chan is always great doing the Drunken Master style. But why did they have to put that teenage boy in there. He was so corny!!! Here's an example of how bad of a character he was. They're walking thru the desert, and he says, "Boy this desert is hot!" Who did the writing on this movie?
