I have had this hair dryer for about 2 years -- with both long and short hair. My hair is smoother, shinier, and actually dries quicker. Because I have short hair now, i use it in conjunction with the air brush version of this dryer. I pre dry with the blow dryer, and then use the brush version to smooth and silken. Pair this with a little smoothing serum like Biosilk, and you've got great shiny smooth hair, with volume, or straight -- your choice.
