The first time I went to the Outback, I was blown away by the friendly staff. The second time, when our dinner was only a tad late, after the waiter apologized for the 2nd time (it hadn't been long at all) the manager came out with our food, and apologized for the wait and offered us a complimentary dessert or wine. We let him pick out the wine, which was an excellent local wine (Chateau Grand Traverse Late Harvest Riesling). Unbelievable how they were concerened about taking such good care of us.
